Maybe I've been lucky with the games I've seen him play but Ziyech has always impressed me.
We are struggling to sign any attacking player, & with him available at just 25m he covers the right wing and AM, it will baffles me if we end up signing no one with him available for so cheap.
He might not be as young as James but he's one thats cheap enough its worth the risk, while no breaking the bank...

Ismaili Sarr's gone to Watford for £25m. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49283719

Think he would've been a good option for us, he impressed me when I watched him for Senegal. Has more pedigree than Daniel James at a similar price anyhow.

We don't really tend to go for those types of wingers for some reason - players like Moura, Neres, Ziyech that are good wide players and wouldn't cost a fortune.

Sarr’s a great young winger. Has a bit of everything and I’m excited to see him in a very competitive Watford team.

Watford has gone under the radar this window, they are going to be a interesting watch this season with Deulofeu & Sarr on the counter attack

Any idea who that should be ? Sancho is not coming.

Suso or Zaha could be a nice addition.

If we can't sign Sancho. Who would be a realistic option?

If no Sancho , Zaha wouldn't be bad. Should be available for 50-60m.

Not signing Ziyech (or a similar left-footed #10/RW) was pure incompetence. We could have signed him for 40M or so, gotten 2-4 years of solid production and moved him on for 20M and it would have been worth it, and that's if the move didn't really work out all that well. He'd start every week here, either as a #10 or at RW.

Come to think of it, it now seems negligent that we didn't trigger Shaqiri's 13.5M release clause. He hasn't played much at Liverpool but would start here on the right instead of wasting away there, and at that clause he was basically free in that you have to assume he can eventually be sold for at least that number even at age 29 or so after 3 or 4 years here. He's not a worldbeater, but we could really use some creativity from the right with guys like James, Rashford and Martial more suited to running in behind than coming deep or centrally to combine with Pogba and create.

It's one thing that we've missed out on the players who would have us challenging for the Prem and the Champions league like, but it's embarrassing that we also keep missing out on the signings that would have us fighting Spurs for 3rd and getting into the knockout stages of the CL too. We're between 2-3 midfielders short of a starting XI right now (RW, #10/CM and a DM since McTominay should really be backing up one and getting starts as the 3rd CM when we need legs more than creativity, like a Moussa Sissoko type or young Darren Fletcher). Insane.

He is one to keep an eye on, it will be interesting to see his impact in the Premier League, and if he might be worth taking a punt on..

Our biggest outstanding issue from when SAF left is the lack of any actual decent wide players. Our plan in the currnet match vs Palace has been simply to give it to Shaw who's making the overlapping run. Rashford nor James can actually beat a man.

Under SAF with Nani and Valencia was the last time we had wide players that could take a man on. You can't be a good team without good wide forwards, it baffles me that we haven't improved this yet.

I think it would make sense to look at Sarr but I am sure we are going to be quoted upwards of 50mil but with Watford being in the second tier maybe if our interest is known his head will be turned and he could speed up a move unlike Sancho who looks very happy at Dortmund.

At this point, I'd even take Zaha. He shouldn't be too expensive considering how his price has plummeted and the fact that we've got sale-on %. €30m should do the trick.
