The sad part is that we had scouts watching him when he scored 4 in 20 minutes against the best defence in the Norwegian league. We could have had him for peanuts. Now Salzburg will absolutely fleece anyone interested (and rightly so).

As long as he was only playing well in Austria there was hope he wouldn't be chased by the whole of Europe. If he keeps playing like that in the CL every club in the world will be after him.

He has looked sharp but the Genk defending has also been pretty awful

Looks like he might have a Jovic like season this year. It'll be interesting to see if he stays at his current club beyond this season. Won't put myself through the heartache of believing we'll make an approach for him.

If Greenwood is good enough then not.
No competition allowed in our squad unfortunately. Lukaku wasn't a fan, we're hearing that potential (and unlikely) Zlatan's move would hamper poor Rashy and Tony's development, etc., etc.

It's only when we are shorthanded up front with shit options that our players don't feel anxiety and enjoy their game.

Probably another season in Salzburg after this one would better for him in the long run.

Daft question will his dad have an influence on whether or not to join United for obvious reasons?
You'd have to think it would play into the decision, for my money at least. Even if his dad actively encouraged the move for whatever reason the added media presence that would accompany it could be seen as adding unnecessary extra pressure. Who knows ey!

Seeing his past comments regarding Ole makes think we may have a rare advantage here though.

For those who have seen more of him than the highlights - Do we think he has real top-class potential or is this form a crazy anomaly? What kind of striker do we see him eventually developing into?
