What a load of rubbish saying that the majority of fans aren't going to watch Barca anymore because "we didn't win the treble" last year. I am a member of those sites and the majority don't like the mediocre manager that serves up dull football 24/7, with rare exceptions. They don't like to watch give the ball to Messi and hope for the best type of football after spending hundreds of million on players. Fortunately for him, Messi is that good and covers the large tactical deficiency of Valverde's Barcelona. They don't like how every player we are buying worsens as soon as Valverde gets a hand on them. If you are not a veteran and you make a mistake, you will get a nice bench place for the rest of the season. Rakitic, Busquets, Suarez can have matches upon matches of poor performances and still be undisputed starters because Valverde is a coward who doesn't want to upset them. Also can't develop a young player to save his life.
Personally, I don't understand how a fan of the team wouldn't want to watch every match, because even under Valverde's era of turd on a stick football, I made everything possible to watch our games and missed 2 or 3 games/season at most. However, even if I can't vouch for every fan, the major reason for being put off watching matches is the dull football and the fact that we collapse like a cheap tent at the slightest adverse situation but not because we did not win the treble.
There are plenty of other team fans that follow almost all our matches and they say the same thing about Valverde. I know some Ajax fans that started to follow our games this year to watch Frenkie and have been shocked to see how misused he is and what a lack of tactical nous Valverde has. And these are people that started watching us just this year. Imagine watching this shitshow for the last 2 years. Messi papering over the cracks and winning titles almost on his own, coupled with RM and Atletico being poor in La Liga, does not make keeping Valverde justifiable.
