Very impressive. Been tracking him since he joined Southampton.

Today also they impressed with the pressing and style of play. Would happily take him if we sack Ole.

Seemed to start well with Saints but faded away a bit, didn't he?

Loved his Ingolstadt team.

Liked what he tried to do with Leipzig, but, ultimately, it didn't work out.

Now, I'm enjoying him here in England. I don't know if I rate him as highly as I did fresh off his Ingolstadt reign, but I'm still a fan of his style.

He was fantastic manager in Germany. Thought he did well at Leipzig getting them in 2nd ahead of Dortmund and as @Yagami says he did an amazing job at Ingolstadt. Pretty sure they're back in 3rd Bundesliga now.

Think problem will be at Southampton is they simply don't have firepower to make their good spells count in matches. Today I thought they were on top for long spells but so many snatched shots and wrong decisions in final third, Che Adams struggling with step up atm.

That's been their problem for last few years. Under Poch and Koeman their attacking options were brilliant (Lambert, Lallana, Mane, Pelle etc).

Well in one of two full seasons he finished 2nd so not sure what more he could've done given it was Bayern they were trying to chase down. Second season with CL they dropped off a bit but still you have to remember Dortmund improved more and then had likes of Leverkusen and Schalke wanting to put the upstarts in their place. Think they still got into europa league.

We'll see how Nagalsmann does there, he's made a fantastic start.

I've always rated him as one of the few quality managers that have worked in the BL that are still working (Klopp, Tuchel, Hasenhüttl). I do rate him a bit higher than Nagelsmann even. I think he is very underrated and far more than a poor man's Klopp.

Very similar to Klopp. Surprised to hear you rate him above Nagelsmann though.

His 442 will be perfect for us .Maddison can take the Forsberg role and Sancho can play right or forward.

Not sure how far he'll take Saints as they still lack decisiveness in final third at premier league level. Can also be got at defensively given the goals they shipped on Friday. Will probably finish 12-14th. Good manager though. Might be the sort Everton go for as/when Marco Silva is sacked.

Think he is Spurs bound which would be a shame and we will start chasing a Spurs manager again in couple of years.

Him, or Howe, or Leitner (still early doors). There are a few quite impressive managers in the league right now

Hilarious. This manager is utterly clueless, & is certainly like Ole in that he is likely to relegate a side in Premiership if given chance.

What was the hype for him about anyways? They started the season poorly, even worse than us, and the worst part is the players looked like they stopped fighting for him which prompted the fans leaving early. If that happened to Ole at Old Trafford then I'd be truly scared.

Served him right. Celebrated like he won the league when he barely got a point against us, bitter i know
That's exactly why I want Leicester to score another five in the second half and send his ass back to Austria. Lidl Klopp.

So. Don't a portion of the Caf want this guy to be the United manager? Just like the Norwich boss?

One good thing about this season is you get to see who the knee jerkers are. It's pretty amusing.

The biggest problem at Southampton is the board, Les Reed was allowed to sell off their Crown Jewels without bringing in quality replacements.

So, after all it seems like hiring a flavour of the month-type of manager who plays a positive style of football won´t magically solve all your problems. Shocker.

In general, it serves Southampton just right that they seem to get in a relegation battle again this season. I still can´t get over the fact they sacked Puel after finishing eighth and reaching the League Cup final (where they gave you guys a really great game) for allegedly playing boring football. Since then they finished seventeenth and sixteenth and are heading towards the relegation zone this season again under such a "progressive" manager.

It’s one game, 3 points but how can he carry on after that.

Didn't think he was that bad. Don't think he should be sacked just yet, teams have had bad results before but come back.

Will certainly be sacked. As should some of the team. Truly disgraceful

Probably inevitable he's going to be sacked now.

Can see Chris Hughton coming in given the situation. Or even Pulis.
