Cocu is gonna get sacked at this rate.

Also, I know this is not exactly going to be a popular sentiment, but Lee Bowyer is doing a magnificent job as a manager at Charlton.

Saw Leeds highlights, they completely battered Swansea. Was a proper smash and grab away win of blocking constant shots in six yard box and then scoring late winner.

He's not a bad manager at all.

Issue for him recently is this using one agent to sign loads of players allegedly, Boro and Birmingham both seemed to get rid of him because of that.

Surprised he went for that job tbh. Lincoln could well have another promotion in them given how they've started league one season.

Huddersfield are on a massive downward spiral. It's similar to last season when Nathan Jones quit a winning machine in Luton to go to Stoke who had forget how to win and he's probably going to be sacked in next few weeks.

Talk last week was he was getting Sheff Weds job which would've made much more sense to me.

There's been a few football league managers in the last few years that have done that, jumped up too soon and leapfrogged a division or two when their stock is high. It might work out for him, but Gary Rowett and (probably soon) Nathan Jones are examples of knowing it's best to stay put at times.

Stoke City and Huddersfield propping up the Championship with just the 1pt in 7 and 6 games respectively. Who would have thought it, eh? A classic example of be careful what you wish for. Hope Stoke go down again.

Preston going quite well which I don't mind seeing. No real affinity for them but they're perhaps the most storied club yet to play in the Premier League. They weren't too far away times under David Moyes and Billy Davies.

Looked like they might make the playoffs after a really good run post-christmas last season then they turned to absolute crap from mid-March onwards.

Leeds dropping points. Should get a win over Wigan today and Charlton will be tied with them. Hopefully Swansea drop points too. Next week is going to be one hell of a match at the Valley. Really need Lyle Taylor back though, he is vital to the side.

Ah shit, just read Taylor is out at least a few weeks.

How rubbish are Stoke this season. Their ground's pretty much empty and they're losing yet again.

They are a disaster right now & I'm not sure they will be able to turn it around. I'm not sure what has happened to Jack Butland, he was poor again today and its hard to believe he is a candidate for the England side.

Barnsley 1 - 3 Brentford - Hattrick of headers for Ollie Watkins, now the league's top scorer.

Should be a bigger story than it is. Drink driving. Twats.
Drink driving should be an auto, long term ban from the league imo.

I’m not one for draconian bans generally but drink driving is one of the lowest actions for me, you don’t have to drink nor drive. Anyone that chooses to do both, endangering people with families etc. deserve a VERY strong sentence imo.

I drive around 1000miles a week, to think a drink driver could end it all as I’m off to a site visit sickens me.

Not seen anything of him yet. What type of player is he?
Signed from Exeter in 2017 after he won the EFL Young Player of the Year award. Spent the last two seasons as one of the wide attackers but all his previous managers at Brentford and Exeter have said his future would be as a striker. After the departure of Maupay (late in the day) and the problems around bringing in a new centre forward before the deadline, Ollie has started the season as the Bees main number 9. So he is still learning to play the position and at times the crowd can get a bit frustrated due to this but the goals on Sunday were pure centre forward play. He is quick, strong and skillful - now that he is adding goals to his game looking good for the future. Crystal Palace wanted him in the summer but not sure if they got as far as making an offer and if they did it wasn't enough, he has also signed a new contract just after the transfer window shut so it's going to take a big offer to get him. That being said I've seen Roy Hodgson a few times at games already this season so obviously still keeping tabs on him.
