He should get fined. His professionalism towards injury prevention and weight control is an insult to the club and fans. He needs the Lukaku treatment.

He's been made to look like a mug by both Astana and Rochdale players. I thought Ole was actually doing something right by subbing him off for yet another terrible showing, but he only went and got injured again.

Brainfart in the first few minutes that Axel had to mop up, somehow ended up charging down the left wing, lost the ball and then gave a foul away, and then he came off injured at half time, it was 45 minutes that encapsulated Jones United career.

Jones could be with United until he retires from football, like what other club would be silly enough to take on a player as injury and error prone as Jones is?

The only positive i can say about him is that in games that don't matter he can be used to give our real defenders a break. Needs to go, no question about it.

He needs to be sold, but not many teams will want him at this rate. Perhaps some team from Honduras league...

Nobody's buying this shit and he won't be fecking off for good 5 years either because we recently have given him an extension. He knows nobody besides us is that fecking stupid. We're pensioners home at the moment.

Can't wait for the Phil Jones testimonial

He'll play for 10 minutes before getting injured.

How this guy can be a professional football player is beyond me, but that he's still at Manchester United, approaching his 10th year, is insane. No other club that calls themselves elite club, would ever put up with this. Unreliable, insanely injury-prone and no skills to show for it.

Bravo, Ole. Bravo, Ed. Bravo, Manchester United.

Being constantly injured doesn't help him. He used to be very promising at a younger age then. Eventually his style (very physical) led to a lot of injuries which hampered his progress.
Read somewhere that he got injured three times in his last 5 competitive games. Don't know if this is true but he looks permanently crocked. As with Sanchez, injuries are taking their toll.

This is one of the reasons Smalling should of stayed and Jones should of been the one to leave.

Sometimes it’s worth persisting with a player for various reasons such as been an absolute legend for the club, potential, etc clearly it’s not with Jones and symptomatic of the problems with the squad and club as a whole.

The guy is made out of extremely thin delicate glass. One small, tiny little touch and it shatters. I’m sure he has genuinely injured every single body/muscle part of his body, I don’t know what is left for him to injure?

True problem is the replacements brought in like Bailly were even more crocked than him. That's why he still here I think

Can’t see many takers for him either is another issue which makes that contract extension even crazier, hence the reason we managed to get someone interested in smalling over him.

True but life doesnt work like that. For a player to leave two things need to happen a) someone must want them b) he must want to play football

Whilst clubs were interested in Smalling and he wanted to go to play football, the same cannot be said for Jones. Club should never have renewed his contract

Is he injured? Or was he just hooked for being absolute shite as usual?

He is DONE at this club. How on earth we've given him a 5 fecking year deal is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

He gave Jose the shock of his life by turning up for practice. Jose said " feck you are fit"?

Which team in the PL would take this guy? Are there even any such clubs in the upper half of the PL table?

I think Jones has lost all of his self-belief as a player, which just makes his lack of skills even more evident.

Been ranked the worst defender in the world (47%) by Marca. Whilst of course he isnt, it is interesting to know that other countries also share the same view as Utd fans, that he is shit.
