This one too "not good enough, plays in Portugal in shitty league"
Like Lingard could score against Rochdale or AZ fecking Alkamar.
I don't think Lingard is interested in football in any shape if I am honest.

There were leaked images of him breaking at door in Boavista after getting sent off, then two different leaked phone calls, one in which he has some harsh words for some Sporting players and the other where he criticizes the portuguese media and their criticism of some portuguese players playing abroad like Felix and Semedo.

It's a tough period for him, didn't get the move he deserved, Sporting have become an even worse as a team and now the media are giving their all to create drama around him. He needs to focus on playing well, getting results and ignore all the bullshit.

Let's do our best to get him in January. Surely the guy is desperate to move and sporting want to sell

It's infuriating that gettable players like this were available and we could've signed without a hitch and we ignored as we were 'happy' with the squad.

I’d take him over Maddison. Will probably cost less too. I actually can’t believe we didn’t sign him. I don’t care what league it is. He’s smashing it.

Whoever signed Fred actually need sacking when comparing the value for him compared to the sums quoted for Bruno.

62 goals/assists in 63 games. Quality player. Would walk into our shit show with ease.

We won't sign him though.

That’s the weird thing, we go public about Bruno’s passing accuracy, but we’re happy with everything else in our squad? What the hell?

Right now he’d be head and shoulders the best CAM in the team. Not even close.

Sporting was asking 70+. There will be no major difference between Maddison and him interms of price.

Bruno's stats are being massively padded because he's Sportings plan A, plan B and plan C. They're just giving the ball to him and crossing their fingers that something will happen, which is probably detrimental to the overall performance of the team.

In a functional team he wouldn't be putting up anywhere near the same numbers. Probably around 10 each for goals and assists across all competitions for a team like ours.

That's still miles better than Jesse, mind you. I'll take someone who has the stones to feck up a pass now and then when trying to create goals over someone who never wants to receive the ball and immediately fumbles it away if he's ever unlucky enough to be at the end of a pass. Oh, and Bruno's two years younger than yong'n'lernin' Jesse, so practically an infant.

As people are concerned about him playing in a weak league, heres a performance of Bruno against elite opposition:

KDB-esque delivery at 3:37

I don't know how people see this video or even watch him in a game or live in my case and not see pure quality. We are talking about one of the worst Sporting sides in recent years and not even playing for Porto and Benfica and putting these numbers and performances. Quality player.

Haha, do you believe Leicester the club that sold us a defender for 80m will sell us their main AMF for less than the price of the defender!

by the way Bruno's price wont be more than 50m

There was no reason not to bring him in. Even if his output is cut in half he is still far more productive than Lingard or Mata.

There must be something we don't know about him.- it could him, his agent or something else.
Someone with those stats would normally be snapped up by a bigger club.

Would love to see him play for us instead of some of the crap we have.

Not buying Bruno just shows what clowns we have at mu, was it Ed's call not to buy to keep more profits for the Leeches, or was it oly's call on grounds of Bruno not running enough.
I could easily believe both versions as I now believe Oly and team are just as clueless as Woodward.
I just hope another team doesn't win his favours. In any case if Bruno continues in good health then he will cost a lot more to buy in the future.

We were all crying out for this to happen over the summer.

It's quite baffling we didn't get him.

McTominay
Fernandes Pogba
Fernandes in that De Bruyne role. Would've been really good that midfield. Three players all capable of defending, pressing and creating.

We are desperate for more creativity.

A player that can perform while surrounded by trash? If that doesn't recommend him for United, I don't know what will.

Is he available in January?

At least they have those plans, sounds like more than we offer!

In all seriousness, I’m not sure a midfield of him, Pogba and McTominay has enough balance. I don’t see McTominay as a sitting defensive midfielder, which is what would be needed with Pogba and Fernandes ahead.

"Major " is the key word. Maddison should be available for 80-90 m. For 10-15m more, Maddison is a better choice. Now if Bruno is available for less than 50m, that's a different story.

We're not a functional team either . He'd likely be our plan A, B and C a lot of the time too.

Imagine him and Ziyech as our #10 and right winger instead of Lingard/Mata/Pereira.

I’d rather he be that than pereira, mata or Lingard sheesh
Agreed. I just meant he'd probably have a lot of the same opportunities and responsibilities here as he does at Sporting.

I don't think he'd put up the same numbers but it would be more down to the quality of opposition rather than the quality of his teammates.
