Made errors and was a bit uncomfortable with the hold up play from both Newcastle strikers but you know what (?), he got physical and challenged pretty much every single time.

That means he tried to affect the ball and made it difficult for them to have easy lay-offs.

No it wasn't. Tuanzebe is as much a RB as Rojo is a LB. Both have played in those positions before. Difference is Tuanzebe is the better footballer of the two so more suited to play as a fullback. All Rojo does from that position is take ridiculous longshots that never hit the target.

Comfortable on the ball, aggressive and has a decent pass into the forward positions.

Played a cracking pass in the first half between some players that started a great phase of intricate play. However also played a couple of passes that were easily telegraphed by the opposition.

This is shit and it's obvious why "statman" Dave didn't include this stat. It doesn't fit his agenda.

His passing was NOT good.

Statistically Tuanzebe DID NOT play well because a) he was poor in the air b) poor in possession c) did not do enough defensively.

He was losing aerial battles, and they brought Carroll on who is notorious for being incredible in the air.

His partnership with Maguire was the only positive thing going for us, Newcastle barely threatened. We were on the front foot and sweeping up every Newcastle attack. Disrupting that and shifting him wide was very naive. Carroll is shot.
