It'd be just like this Man Utd team to pull off a wonder result here and then go to Carrow Road and get thoroughly twatted.

We are 8 games in, and the scousers are 15(fifteen!!!) points ahead of us. Crazy.

I am hoping that Pogba, Martial, and AWB will be fit for this and we might luck out a good result, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

We do seem to be game raisers these days so fingers crossed, but then we've not been in as bad a patch as this so Christ knows what's going to happen.

Wonder if Young will be able to pull off such a great performance against Salah again. Easily his best ever performance at LB.

Thing is Young is quite good when defending, he has a bit of experience to know how to handle some attackers. But when he gets the ball by god is he bad. He may as well pass it square back to Salah when he wins it.

 yeah, and he's got worse since then.

He was quality that day though.

Despite the fact our manager is from the Norwegian league and is extremely incompetent and out of depth, we will win this if we have all our injured players back.

This should be interesting. I think we will score against them. But we will also concede. I’m guessing 4- 2 to them.

It’s genuinely fascinating the people at the head of the match day score leaderboard. Fair play to ya, you must live interesting lives!

It is strange to say but I am not overly worried about this fixture.

We have developed this weird habit of being equal or worse than mid table teams and but also looking pretty equal with good teams in a one off game. We have turned into a mid table game raising team.

1-0 to them or maybe 1-1.

We'll lose this, and it'll be a heavy defeat in terms of score or display.

They'll be up for it, and we'll be absolutely trashed by these f*******

Then Ole will fail to beat Norwich or B'mouth, pressure will be too much for him

My team for the last real game for Ole, Phelan and co

    ------------------------De Gea-----------------------
    Wan Bissaka---Lindelof-----Maguire----------Shaw
    ------------------------Matic--------------------------
    ------------Mc Tominay------Pereira-----------------
    James----------------Martial----------------Rashford

    My prediction

    Manchester United 0-3 Liverpool

I see us losing 0-2 or 0-3, unfortunately. We definitely won't score, unless it's an own goal or a penalty. And contrary to popular belief, I think Liverpool won't go out of 2nd gear and might even hit us on the counter.

Who have we raised our game against? We actually had our fill lineup v Chelsea, so I wouldn't call that a game raiser.

I’m going against the grain here and being all hipster but I think Liverpool will beat us.

We're decent enough defensively on the whole, and we should have some players back. Think we'll be able to keep it tight and it'll be a low scoring affair. Could be a 1-0 win either way or a draw most likely which Liverpool will be ok with probably.
    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Pogba
    James Lingard Rashford
    Martial

Our strongest 11 IMO and I'm hopeful they'll all be fit.
I hope Mason Greenwood is fit, Id like to see him up front with Martial in for Rashford.

These days as in the past few years I mean. That counts as 'these days'!
    Haha, fair does pal.

Let's hope we do up our game, as if it's the same level as last week, we'll be annihilated!

United dont have a fecking clue in what they're doing.
Actually, they know how to do one thing.
    Save money!

I empathize but also find pity in those being slightly optimistic. We aren't going to be "nicking" shit. We won't be "rising to the occasion" or pulling a damn thing "out of a bag." We will be shit and lose.
Like we've been in most of our games, since the PSG away match, last season.
Last April, I wrote off this season and unless unless we get a big name manager who makes demands of the board, I fear that I am going to be writing off next season, too.

Ole simply does not have the stature to demand the signings which will allow us to finish top 4 (or perhaps even top 6). If he doesn't get fired soon, I will begin to think that maybe our target is top 10.

I'd surprised if we managed to get more than 2 shots on goal against Liverpool.

He will play Mata because he " may create" something for someone. Unfortunately I don't know who that someone is. And neither do the "pundits".
If they beat us Gary Neville is going to have a good bashing from the Pool contingent.
Actually we are so bad even Graeme Souness looks like he is feeling sorry for United. That takes a lot of doing.

I think it’ll be a tight and slightly dull affair with both teams afraid to lose. A narrow 1-0 win for either side or a draw is my prediction.

I am predicting a mostly comfortable 2-1 for us where we get an early brace and concede late in the game and just manage to hold on for the win.

He won't be ready and if he did somehow play there is no way he'd even be 70% fit. Question is, is an 70% Pogba better than 100% Fred or Matic?

Either way I'm expecting a loss, anything else is a bonus.
Sigh. A 70% Pogba would be better than the combined 200% of Fred and Matic.
