They were so mediocre against us. Credit to them for being 6 points ahead of City despite being a worse football team.

They always look crap against us at Old Trafford. Shame we couldn't beat them but I imagine Liverpool fans would be happy with that result.

Yeah I don't really get it. We've been appalling and they've been on a run. If ever there was a game they should have taken to us. Didn't they beat us when Moyes was in charge?

They did, last time they beat us at OT in fact. That crazy game where they got 3 penalties.

Gotta love how Klopp still hasn't won at OT. There's something about us that must give him nightmares.

He's had superior teams the last two times he's visited and has only come away with two draws.

He seemed to be in Moss' ear the entire game. Absolute clown of a man.

He’ll blame Atkinson but we had no clue how to break United down for most of that.

His decision to play Henderson on the right was baffling.

Hoping he’ll persist more with Chamberlain and Keita.

Is he on cocaine? His post-match interview makes it sound like he is. He talks too much.

Fair feck to him for managing to win so many games by basing majority of their attaks on cutbacks to fullbacks who cross from "diagonal" positions and exploit the holes in opposition box. Same way they scored today. When they are not doing that they are hoofing the ball to their strikers who do miracles when the ball falls down.

Is anyone hearing him right now? Saying something like "since I've come to England, Man Utd have always played like this. It's given a lot of promotion as a big game and then only one team sets out to play while the other wants to defend".

Mane is brilliant but the reduction in threat without Salah is massive
As cliche as it sounds, Mane benefits a lot from having opposition defenders focus on Salah which gives him more breathing room. Days like today where he's the main threat, he won't be as good. Take nothing away from him he's still world class.

Really not THAT great a team. Just taking advantage of the sorry state of affairs the other top clubs are in at the moment.

One injury.

One injury today and they looked awful. Give them our injuries and they'd be in a similar position. I predict a lot of points dropped around Christmas.

He is a very good manager but he comes across so fake. He is no different to your Jose or even Pep. Sore loser, cry baby.

He's not wrong, but knowing this he should have changed from his usual 3 flexible DM approach.

It's a stupid argument. It's what Arsenal/Wenger used to bitch about. You play to your strengths/the other teams weakness. United aren't deliberately going to do something they can't and give Klopp a free run

He is wrong, because the first 45 is obvious that we didn't set out to defend. It was Ole's bizzare swtiches that made us play deeper and deeper when the second half got going.

So the Champions of Europe could not beat a depleted United team for the second year running.
Here's hoping they lose the league by a couple of points and it will be us again being the culprits in losing them the league.

We were awful. Atrocius. I started off blaming the ref, Utd tactics, the wind, but by the end all I could honestly think was how bad we were. It's a voodoo playing there, I swear. Klopp's love of Henderson is inexplicable.

That’s a stretch.

They still won the CL and gained 97 points last season. There’s nothing to downplay about that.

It will take a joint, or rather, united effort of all Manchester clubs. ;)
