This player could also be a homosexual!
Oh for feck sake, this gets worse by the minute.

If poor Origi wishes to play the non binary game of football whilst being a Belgian gender nonconforming queer, then they should be able to do so without being brutally physically assaulted by a hulking Swede and then fall victim to a bigoted rant from a Nazi Norwegian.

Action has to be taken here.

"It's still a man's game, with tackles allowed. The [Liverpool] goal was handball so that is a clear one from [Sadio] Mane. We were at the right end of the VAR decisions.“

Probably not the best choice of words, but it’s just an old footballing expression in that context. No way was there any sexist intent.

Surely someone in the media will have a crack at this now you’ve highlighted it though :D

Absolutely no problem with the phrase used in this context. Had it been said about MUFC women's team then that's a different story.

Me and my wife, Simon, noticed these comments from Ole and we were both outraged.

We've wrote a strongly worded letter to the club demanding an apology for his choice of words following the game.

We thought Rashford was MOTM. Its outrageous.

Can't agree. Rashford was not Man of the Match he was Person of the Match.

I can't believe that SJW snowflake Elvis has built a unisex shower in the Scouts Forum.

Are you saying he isn't human? That he's some kind of animal who is less than a human?

:nono:
Pfft, I am clearly saying that awards like these should show inclusiveness to all other mammals who are totally equal.

Have you ever seen a seal juggle a ball? All technique.

Just said this in his post match interview. Disgraceful comment really considering this is the first season United have a women's team. Should apologise.
It isn't even remotely sexist. In this context, 'man' can easily be interpreted as a contrast with 'boy' or 'children' - i.e professional football is a game for grown-ups. He could just as well have said 'its a big boy's game'. It's just a way of saying that a degree of physical contact is a part of the sport. There's nothing to get excited about here.

Ole could have certainly used better wording to express what he was trying to say, but being "outraged" about it is a clear overreaction. He was talking about men's football match, not about football in general and there was obviously no intent at all to be sexist so - take a chill pill and try to fight real fights, seriously. There is so much real sexism in the world, including in sports that making a big deal out of this nothing is simply not helpful and feels more like attention-grabbing than anything else.

This thread up to 5 pages?

The key would appear to be to ensure it's not funny so nobody realises it's a joke!

I love it when SJW show just how reactionary, moralist, and close minded they really are. Everything they used to hate about "conservatives".

Respect the heritage of the sport being derived from male's capability such as running and kicking. That is why in oxford dictionary there exists the word sportsmanship, not sportswomanship.

When Ole said "it's a man's game" He obviously pointed at the origin of the sport, which used to involve cavemen kicking a ball of leopard skin around with JohnoWhite analyzing them because He's ancient. GlastonSpur used to go to India to find temples that have writing of these things being explained in a childlike drawing.

Yeah, shame on Ole to assume these players identify as men, first of all. You guys really need to sack this racist/mysoginist/homophobe/*insert WOKE word in here* dinosaur
