Think this result has bought him some extra time regardless of the next two now. He's probably just bought himself the January window.
Wishful thinking . Anyway you massively underestimate the emotional impact a single loss against a lower team has on supporters. So no a draw against Pool can't buy immunity (if we go) through two weeks of mediocrity talk less of the 2 months till JanuaryThink this result has bought him some extra time regardless of the next two now. He's probably just bought himself the January window.
We must follow up with 2 wins against Norwich and Bournemouth. Chelsea won't matter as much.Think this result has bought him some extra time regardless of the next two now. He's probably just bought himself the January window.
There's probably a line which he cannot cross just like any other manager and we're 4 points behind Crystal Palace, so... he seriously better start winning matches.Based on all Woodward’s talk I think I he could lose next two now and still keep his job.
Woodward is desperate for it to work and although there will be a cut off I think it’s some way off yet. Ole will be saved by fact Woodward won’t have a clue what to do next other than appoint Allegri. There's probably a line which he cannot cross just like any other manager and we're 4 points behind Crystal Palace, so... he seriously better start winning matches.
The earlier Caf's predictions about sack before Christmas is still the real possibility.
Most likely to happen. Ed will do the same and will be presented probably with same results as always, or he can start doing something and maybe prepare a warchest for January if he really want to stick with Ole.Woodward is desperate for it to work and although there will be a cut off I think it’s some way off yet. If Poch was to leave Spurs I think it would be very different but Ed will just be keeping his fingers crossed for next few weeks.
I don't think he was in the slightest danger before the Liverpool match, certainly not now.
The rebuild is going to take time, he rightly has the backing of the club to do so. We're not changing our manager this year and nor should we.

Can't win away and now four away games on the spin. Hopefully he will gone soon enough.
We'll be in the relegation spots pretty soon
Was it not a penalty? Do we not deserve a spot kick for attacking play or is that just for good teams? If penalty keep playing the way he's doing then ole might edge it.
Out of curiosity do we top the list of penalties given? Was it not a penalty? Do we not deserve a spot kick for attacking play or is that just for good teams?
Transfermarkt shows that we're first with 6 received penalties, followed by Liverpool and CP with 3.Out of curiosity do we top the list of penalties given?

# Club Penalties received Scored Missed Goal rate
1 Manchester United 6 2 4 33,3 %
2 Liverpool FC 3 3 0 100,0 %
3 Crystal Palace 3 3 0 100,0 %
4 Manchester City 2 2 0 100,0 %
5 Wolverhampton Wanderers 2 2 0 100,0 %
That conversion rate though... oof. But let's be honest, most of those pens are well deserved.
Imagine if any of Rashford, Maguire or Lindelof is out with injury against Bournemouth and we lose...Hope all the #OleOut brigade are back in their boxes for a few weeks

Haha does my head in mate, that last night, brilliant
These threads always age so wellCan't win away and now four away games on the spin. Hopefully he will gone soon enough.
City yeah but I really don't think Liverpool have actually been all that, plus we get them in a semi final in January they have games galore I would fancy us to do them.Imagine if any of Rashford, Maguire or Lindelof is out with injury against Bournemouth and we lose...
I still think he should have rested more players. Even though it's important with trophies, the chance of getting knocked out of the cup is fairly big considering both Liverpool and City is still in there.
What's happened to Greenwood? He hasnt had a run out for a while nowImagine if any of Rashford, Maguire or Lindelof is out with injury against Bournemouth and we lose...

He doesnt need to have a run. He is back up to injuries and we have players returnig from injury so he has resumed his role in the team. Theres no conspiracy. What's happened to Greenwood? He hasnt had a run out for a while now
Yep, hindsight is great. Well done team and Ole. Still believe there will be plenty more challenging times ahead for us.These threads always age so well
I don't get it. Why should he get more respect? It is not that people are rude or just bash him for no reason, they rather have been pointing out terrible weaknesses in his team, selection, formation, training etc.Delighted for Ole absolutely. The man deserves a much better treatment and respect from our own fans
It was a legitimate concern. I don't think there was anything wrong with making the thread. These threads always age so well
Maybe, but... With the last win, we went from 15th to 7th. That's how ridiculously hyperbolic some of the reactions and worries are on here. And how close everyone was at that point. Sure, we were mere points out of relegation, but we'd played a stiffer schedule than any of the top six at the time (I actually ran the numbers, not making this up) and had an easier run coming after Pool. All the teams from 5th to 14th are still within four points of each other after 10 games. We knew that players who had been injured during the bad run would be coming back. Just too much overreaction...It was a legitimate concern. I don't think there was anything wrong with making the thread.
We're still 7 points from top 4, and the qualms about the team weren't just from league position. It was about the performance levels and demeanor on top. There is no hyperbole about it.Maybe, but...
