Well, this weekend De Bruyne, Salah, Mount, James and Pukki got me nothing. I also chose Lascelles over Lundstram because the latter has 3 tricky upcoming fixtures.

Thankfully Soyuncu has come up trumps. On 45 now with Son to play.
This is my week..

So you've basically just picked players who did well the last 2-3 weeks

I had most of them. Brought in Tomori and Vardy for Matip and Connelly and swapped out a Sterling for KDB then had to change Richarlison for McGinn

I'm holding Sterling for a while as it seems most are jumping off. He'll bang another hatty in sooner rather than later.

Probably the best way for me to get a Liverpool attacker in will be via Auba and a double transfer. Trouble is I fancy him to return well in his next 4/5 fixtures. Tricky call. And if in doubt I prefer to do nothing.

My current team is

Pope (Button)

TAA / Lundy / Willems (Soy) (Kelly)

Sterling / KDB / Mount / Tielemans (Cantwell)

Auba / Vardy / Tammy

£1.3m in the bank and no FT this week (did Willems in for Otta)

I think my priorities are Kelly out for someone who's cheap but plays (Rico I guess)

I want Pope out GW15 when they play City. I might bring in Henderson and double up on SHU who have a nice run and a great defensive record.

Then the decision needs to be made about formation and Liverpool attackers. Could bring Mane/Salah in for Cantwell and make Auba bench fodder then switch to 3-5-2. Makes sense to do this GW16 in a double transfer but Liverpool only have 2 games before a blank.

GW18 then - 2 transfers. McGinn & Martial in for Mane and Tielemans. Mane back the week after.

I know this is a bit of a oneversation. Just trying to formulate a plan.

I can never bring myself to drop a premium player with good fixtures. I'm going to keep Auba for Southampton and Norwich, then evaluate. Possibly take him out and bring in Mane then.

Yeah. As outlined above I'm gonna grit my teeth and go without a Liverpool attacker until GW16.

Must be time to get rid of Salah he has been absolutely shocking tonight.

Probably score a hat-trick this weekend now.

Jammily swapped Otamendi out for Mendy on Saturday morning. Just as well he stayed on the bench to secure 21 points from Lundstram making it off mine.
Did the same move though it was Rico I benefitted from coming on, Lundstram was already starting.

You keeping faith with Mendy? Toying getting rid of him already for Soyuncu. Think I need a Leicester defender

Mount went off with a knock. Could be a doubt.

Yeah, I might jettison him in a couple of weeks. It's hard to spend money on better defenders because of the lack of clean sheets amongst the top clubs so far.

Transfers made, kept him for now. He'll be decent value if he plays regular, good for double digit hauls in previous years. Have TAA, Mendy, Soyuncu, Lundstram and Rico. Should be strong enough back there

Considering taking a -4 to swap Mount for Maddison or Pulisic.

Already used my 2FTs to boot out Haller > Jimenez and Otamendi > Lascelles to avoid their price drops.

No way I'm ditching Mount. Got him at £6m and the injury looks like 1 game tops. Another international break coming up too to recover.

It does mean starting either Cantwell who looks to have lost his spot or Soyunco against Arsenal and playing 4 at the back.

Vardy and no. People should've learned their lesson last week with Sterling. I'm waiting for a double.
Vardy for me, Mane is a shout but form and fixture favours Vardy. Arsenal are horseshit away and in disarray.

Yeah Triple Cap is best for double GW. Easy to speak after the fact but ceiling is higher in 180 mins than 90.

West Ham as my two keepers, 4.4m and 4m.

Presumably need to sort that out as my 1 transfer this week!

Recommendations?

Gazza for Tottenham looks a good choice, and was actually my 50-50 two weeks ago, but laughably thought West Ham's 2 home games looked good cleany chanecs!

You say this, but what if the double ends up being 2 away games, and your player is rested for one?

You end up captaining a player for a game you never would.

And with a free hit, second wildcard and benchboost, maybe those options are better for any doubles? As there's no guarantees there's loads!

Well I'm thinking specifically of the Liverpool one. We know it's a double that's going to include West Ham and Klopp is less likely to feck you over than Pep. That's good enough for me

Will have to see how it pans out. Will have to make sure of at least covering Mane/Salah for that one

David Silva owners, what are you doing with him?
I’m tempted to take a -4 to put in Martial, as I also have Mount, who’s doubtful. City have some rough games coming up, and I’ve always thought he was likely to get rotated soon.
