I won't be surprised if we're interested especially since Ole has no choice but to dig deep in other club's thrash bin in January.

I don't know what your problem is guys. when players of this quality become available, we have got to sign them.

Sir Woodward said "We can do things in the transfer market that other clubs can only dream of. Watch this space."

He's right, all our rivals are dreaming of moments like this and waking up laughing at us ofcourse.

His contract ends at the end of December but his club have an option to extend it one year. That might depend on whether anyone (he'd like to play for) wants to buy out the contract? He's never played in the Premier League. He hasn't played 'top flight' football since he left Portugal for China nearly 2 years ago. Risky. But none of Mata, Lingard, nor Pereiera do a good job at creative/attacking midfield. If it was no transfer or Gaitan, I'd pick Gaitan and move one of our, so-called, 'attacking midfielders' out. If we have no money for transfers the options are to:
  • get a free agent,
  • find someone with a contract running out or
  • get a player from a lower league who we feel can step up.
There is no option to bring in no one - unless we've giving up caring how United do. I would not get him. I doubt he has the steel for the PL. I'd find someone more suited.

If illustrious teams like Sheffield United and West Ham United are interested, we should go all out to bring him in.

I'm all for this. He's clearly cursed us along with Sneijder. Sign them both and bring back Sneijdercafe (or was it orangecafe?)
