When was the last time they lost there? Not happy with that but other 2nd place in group is wide open.
Oh i just saw that it is better to be second. Oh well, go England

We play in Budapest on the 16th, in Munich on the 20th and then in Budapest again on the 24th :houllier:

First game will be the easiest one too and we haven't won our first game in a tournament since 2008.

Literally impossible to get a worse draw than this

Not the most inspiring group for England. We've played Croatia twice and the Czechs twice each in the last 14 months.

I'd have preferred to come up against a nation we've not played in a few years. For me, the novelty factor is a big part of why I enjoy international tournaments.

So Germany France and Portugal in one group. So much for the little hope I had for this competition.

Can anyone explain why Romania would need to be moved?

They're already talking about England's 'easy' route again if they finish second in their group..
England are better off finishing 2nd in their group. Winning their group means playing runner-up of Group F which could be either France/Germany/Portugal..

If England finish second, we can avoid Germany/Portugal/France in order to play Sweden in the QFs instead.

Now, when have I seen that before?

Because Hungary and Serbia would see a tourism boom with their new coastline.

Well, looks like France isn't gonna be able to afford being the slow starters they usually are in the group stages. I say France and Portugal get out of this group, Germany might as well with this weird new rule that allows third place to get into play offs (which is how Portugal lucked their way to the last Euro) :p

Draw with Croatia, 1-0 wins v Czech Republic and Scotland/Norway. Go through as runners up. Sorted.

Euro 2000: Portugal, Germany, England, Romania

Euro 2004: Portugal, Spain, Greece (winners), Russia

Euro 2012: Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark

Euro 2020: Portugal, Germany, France

2008 wasn't easy either with Switzerland, Czech Republic and Turkey... and meanwhile we had Germany, Brazil and Spain in World Cup groups too all while having a fairly high rating that's meant to help in the draws. It's ridiculous.

I've got tickets to the Dublin last 16 game featuring the winners of England's group and the runner up of F. I also have tickets to the game in Rome for the winners and the semi final at Wembley for the winners of the Rome game. Hopefully it all works out well and the playoff team is 2nd in group F.

The end for Loew and Deschamps, England I’ll beat whichever finishes second to Portugal.

This whole format of the Euros , including not really being hosted by anywhere specifically, it's just a total mess.

I'm going to make a prediction that we will see a lot more injuries at this one. All this traveling around Europe is so dumb, I get the idea behind it but the logistics of it is terrible for the players, though not as ridiculous as the next world cup.

2000, 2004, and especially 2012 were much much harder due to the format. You'll qualify next summer, either straightaway or through 3rd place playoff.

Hoping for some nutty KO matches, England v Portugal in RO16 please

Wow I found Low is still actually managing them. When will they decide to shuffle the team a little bit ?
They are slowly trying to move on from the old guard but he team is not performing as a cohesive unit. Also Low being there doesn't help.
