Intense. You can't deny that its been an epic two performances. Will mean nothing if we don't build on it.

YESSSS Ole beating Jose and Pep within a couple of days with kids on the pitch with some awesome counterattacking.

That’s Manchester United right there folks.

I’ve been repeatedly mentioning the little positives that are there amongst a tough season but this squad is threadbare compared to past managers and Ole is somehow beating the bigger teams.

A few quality additions and let’s start beating the low block lesser teams.

Get in Ole lad!!!!

I’m still not convinced he can get us to where we want to be but happy that he’s got to enjoy a week like this.

I'd love nothing more to be proven wrong by him. It'd be incredible to get back to the top with him in charge.

It looked for all the world that the last two games would see Ole sacked. It's like a miracle or something.

Hat's off to him and the players for the last two brilliant performances. Incredible stuff.

Expected to get 0 out of 6 these recent 2 games and we ended up on 6. Credit where it's due. He and the team done well to win both of them. Winning against the nasty goons city is always a treat. Feck them.

Obertans #1 fan.
Someone should open a thread:

Ole Out brigade is cancelled
why?

genuinely, why do that?

It was fair enough to want Ole out. Results were bad. Some people were unable to see beyond that, hopefully they will learn for next time.

let’s not divide. Let’s now welcome our fellow fans behind the reds... it’s fecking exciting isn’t it?

Ole waving at Fergie, Gill and Sir Bobby.. and getting the thumbs up from Lady Charlton .

That made me smile..

I love how Gill is still around.. Bring him back.. feck off Woodward.

Some people getting ahead of themselves again. First half was brilliant, credit where it's due to Ole and the team. But I just do not understand what he always says to our players at HT when we are leading as we always come out so defensive and negative that we don't even try to cross the halfway line. It's not only today where I guess it kind of makes sense to park the bus as City are a very good team at home but we do it against anyone and nearly lost the lead. Ole clearly bought some time and as much as I still don't think he is the right man for the job, he deserved it for these 2 matches.

Ole wins are so much more satisfying than any other wins since Fergie retired. Let's enjoy the ride.

He won me over with his last 2 performances. Hopefully, we can build on this momentum and get more wins from now on. Let's see if we sign a player or two during the winter window. If we do, I can see us reaching top 4 and Ole staying. Please, do not feck up after having dealt with the difficult run brilliantly.

Feck this. When we start winning big games I can't even get chances to watch matches.

Anyway this is an absolutely magnificent result whatever way you look at it, even though I couldn't watch. There's no need to talk about sacking him now, will be very illogical. Let him get a chance for the rest of the season and see what will happen. Things are looking to improve, and looking at the lineup today, this might be actually our best lineup.

Great win... Purely in terms of technique and organization, the attack is lethal on counter and the defense is as solid as it can be.

Problem remains that we seem to be a one-trick pony in terms of match rhythms, in that we almost always go gung-ho in the first 30 minutes or so, and generally can't conjure up anything in the second half and often just soak up the pressure without any counter-attacking threat. It's the reason why we so often can't defend a lead and are where we are with so many points lost, and it's something OGS would have to sort out eventually.

But as for tonight,

Spectacular performance. Not only beating City, but you cannot argue it was undeserved either.

My wit's end
Beaten Guardiola, Mourinho, Rodgers, Lampard (twice).

Out-coached Klopp and Emery (unlucky to draw in each case).

Not bad.

The weird thing is, in the biggest games against the best he has consistently conjured up an absolute masterclass. It is the last thing you would expect from an inexperienced manager.

It is essential that Woody fights tooth and nail to buy a midfielder in the winter window (preferably two) as there is every chance we can get top four at this rate.

You've obviously never actually played football if you think we could continue our first half performance

Is it too much to ask for people to get behind this man?

Jose and Pep taken out in 3 days. Time to start taking him seriously.

Now he needs to be backed in the window. All his signings we great again tonight.

His game management is sometimes odd, but I am willing to believe this may be due to a small squad and not wanting to put youngsters uncessarily in the deep end. He has pulled two fantastic results and performances against two very good teams. Fair play.

exactly my feeling. All we need to start doing is turning those poor performances against the lesser teams around.
Yeah, I think it's fair to say everyone of us who weren't/haven't been sold on Ole would love it.

I'm just going to enjoy are recent results now
