I believe in Greenwood's finishing skill, but one injury to Rashford and we're back to struggling against pretty much everyone. Sad truth of reality but why not finally address it ? If Woodward refuse to give up on Ole, the best way would probably be boosting his chances through the market, right now.

Great news if United are working behind scenes on something related to football, but since Ed not so long said it's really difficult to find the right players, something may get in the way... as always these days.

Is there anything to be said on his time at Molde with Ole? Could that be a factor?
Should be a huge factor as he really liked playing and developing under Ole.
That being said, the most important aspect for him choosing a club is playing time. If he ain’t certain of getting it constantly here he won’t come. It’s that simple.

The 19-year-old previously played under Solskjaer at Molde, and he has praised his fellow Norwegian for playing a role in his fledgling career, per TV2 (h/t James Westwood of Goal):
"He has had a huge impact on my life, both as a person and as a trainer. He won the Champions League and was an incredibly good player. He has taught me a lot."
The youngster added: "I have dreamed of playing for the best clubs in the world my whole life, and I especially like English football."

He has the chance to come here and could play a key role in making us great again and possibly becoming a legend.

Hwang and Minamino are better players, but they are also 4 and 5 years older. Haaland is also a beast, which can only be helpful in the PL.

I think he's the best signing of the 3, but I think all of them could be successful. RB Salzburg is gonna get absolutely ransacked.

Doubt they’ll struggle though. They seem to spot and nurture talent really well.

Whoever signs Haaland would also have to pay a hefty commission to the player’s representative, Mino Raiola.

Haaland’s main priority is to find a club where he will start as many games as possible. The player and his family, including his father Alf-Inge, the former Manchester City and Leeds midfielder, are concerned that playing time would be limited at United, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial there, and at Juventus, who have Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuaín and Paulo Dybala.

United and Juventus have not given up though and are two of the clubs in Europe who have the best relationship with Raiola. They are both prepared to offer the 19-year-old a lucrative five-year deal.

Haaland has scored 28 goals in 22 games for his club this season and it is more likely he will leave in the summer than in January. He joined the Austrian side from Molde for €9m last January.

There is absolutely no way Haaland is coming to us. He probably doesn’t even like us. His father is in record as saying he hated us and one of our legends ended his career. Given the other uncertainties around our immediate future and our ability to even play him in our starting XI, it’s just not going to happen.

Keane didn’t end his career. His career ended because of an injury to his other knee.

Oh FFS. What's your view on jet fuel and steel beams?

He's also on record as saying he has absolutely no qualms with his son joining us, while the player himself has a deep respect for Ole, having already played under him.

He happens to be a Leeds fan.

There are some strong rumors in Norway linking him to us based on his relationship to Ole and agent Jim Solbakken. But who knows.

He’s just not joining us. And his father is most likely comfortable with that. It’s really not hard to understand why either.

Not sure if you’re on the wind up or not. Keane didn’t end his career so if you’re being serious you’re just plain wrong.

Don't think he'll end up here as he'll be competing with Martial for game-time and it's not exactly a dead cert that Ole will still be here after this season. At this point of his career it makes much more sense to become the main striker and play regularly for one of the 2-3 best teams in Germany.

He is not better than Lukaku at this moment. Buy him and loan for a year.

And equally his father is likely comfortable if he joins us. It's really not hard to understand why he would want to join us, particularly when you consider your major reason why he wouldn't want to join us is made up. It might surprise you but the majority of people outside the club don't think we are quite as shit of a prospect as you do. It's getting tiresome to read.

I've found Dortmund to be one of the most overrated teams for young players in recent years.

Whilst many of their players do end up leaving to go towards better clubs, they don't ever really end up having tantalising careers there do they? I can't really think of many apart from Lewandowski who has made a well and true step up in his career, moved to a top 10 world club and kept his form up there. Something about the way they play football just doesn't click at other clubs.

If this clause is true then United have to go after him, wages wise United will offer a way better deal than those German clubs. Football wise United are still In Europe and in both domestic cup competitions so have a lot of games to play and have a centre forward who's not always fit and can play in different positions too. Then there's the Ole factor too, United is the best place for him of he's up to the challenge.

And it was the other knee that gave him trouble, and he's gone on record saying that the Keane kick had nothing to do with him retiring.

Some people need to research their facts

It is actually.

You're assuming things.

His father is on record saying he hated us years and years ago but most recently concerning his son, he's on record saying he doesn't mind if it's United he goes to.

Past history for his dad clearly has absolutely nothing to do with his future. You believing that Keane ended his career just shows how ill informed your views are.

He will either go to Juventus or one of the German clubs, I don't think we will ever get a player with Mino Raiola on the other side.

Not forgetting that the current manager was his coach at Molde. Times have changed and moved on.

So many people on here are forming their opinions on false narratives.
- we have no chance to sign him
- not big enough pull
- Keane ended his fathers career etc

Why not read articles from some good sources and stop chatting shit?
We have every chance of signing him. Many sources in Norway say we are in the chase, he loves England and English football, he loves Ole and he would get plenty of first team opportunities. Not to mention he would sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

There’s literally nothing attractive about Manchester United except for big wages.
Or a manager who worked with him previously and knows how he plays.

Firstly, apologies for my ignorance about what ended seniors career. I had it In my head he never fully recovered from that Keane tackle and it was a reason he retired.

I see the prospect, I’m one of the more positive fans. I’m thinking about it logistically, and given the interest of other teams I’d be surprised if his dad was recommending he join us above all others. It seems like Haaland wants to develop properly, so if I’m advising him right now I’d be honest and say that the united frontline looks like it might be going places. Even though his manager would be a former boss and fellow countryman, Haalands arrival would disrupt team harmony to some degree. Any united fan happy to trade the potential of Haaland for the potential peak years of martial Is playing a risky game IMO. When I talk about uncertainty around our squad, it’s more with regards to overall fit. I think there are better options and am certain he will choose wisely.

That is absolute rubbish. Manchester Utd will always be a draw. Same as Liverpool still were through the 90s and 00s.
