If you're outside the top 6, come line up and take easy points off United. Disgusted once again.

Players just did not look motivated and that is down to Ole. Lingarrd and Mctominah were atrocious.

If Lingarrd starts another game i give up.

I am rapidly losing interest in the PL at this rate.
Ole is an issue but he should not need to motivate the players. They go out on that pitch sometimes and you can see the lack of urgency in their play. It’s pathetic. My issue is when they play like that Ole should be giving them feck from the touch line. Or at the very least give them feck at half time. We came out worse in the second half than we played in the first.

One of the worst performances from a United team that I have seen and I have been supporting them for 56 or 57 years. Being shut out by the bottom club with only one previous win and giving up an average of 2 goals a game is disgraceful. We dont seem to have the tactical ability to breakdown any team and can only seem to score on the counter. Our players time and time again have shown little or no motivation against any team other than a so called top team and today was another example of this.

AT WHAT POINT, is enough ,enough??? Jesus what the fook does he have to do to get sacked!! Its beyond comprehension how bad a team and manager we have,
And there is a first class PROVEN manager sat on his arse at home, or holiday, we could acquire, yet it looks like we are sticking by inept ole, and we could probably miss out again. Love solskjaer the player and man, but as a manager hes shite.

Some posters on here deserve nothing, whinging, moaning making pointless statements. All you want is a merry go round of changing the players, the manager, the coaches until your satisfied that we have the right people in place, then what happens, the new team takes time to gel, the results don't come, then bingo, change the players, the manager, the coaches. We all know the team is currently not good enough, we need better players in certain positions, but unfortunately we live in a society where if something doesn't work, you throw it out and get a new one, for some people that is how they visualise United, let's throw this one away and start again, but in football, that does not work. Sick of all the moaners on here.

There is something fundamentally broken about the mentality of this team when facing ‘weaker’ teams.

DDG - no words for that mistake

AWB - looked rash out of possession and lacking any quality on it
Lindelof - bullied throughout
Maguire - see Lindelof
Shaw - offered some good runs in attach but far too little

McT - worst game for us. No spark, passing was poor.
Fred - See McT

James - just doesn’t have the creativity when teams play deep. Seemed afraid of taking anyone on
Lingard - Dire
Rashford - Worst game in a while. Touch was shocking.
Martial - had some sparks of quality but nowhere near enough.

Nobody really deserves today other than maybe Pogba.

But a special Feck you goes to Lingard who for the second time in a row in a 0-0 situation gets into a must acore opportunaty and doesnt even hit the target.

I have a never ending criticism for Ole, but this are the sort of stuff that ruins games for us. Lingard should be frozen out of any football until he either prpves himself in training or hes gone. The lad has repedatly ruined games for us.

Another predictable loss. No surprise at all with the performance. Its typical of Oles tactics in these types of games. We are the definition of game raisers under him. Another season completely wasted thanks to Ole and Ed

Holy crap.
I just noticed that Watford are the worst team in the league. They are bottom of the table!
Watford should've put us to the sword

that's what we are, a mid table club that tries hard vs the top teams and gets lucky on the counter

or as Redcafe have always lovingly called them - "a game raising cnuts"
This. Absolutely spot on. We’re the hallmarks of game raising cnuts.

Might be unfair to single anybody out after such a shit team performance, but, Lingard is pointless, as is James at this moment.
Maguire is like a more confident, but not as good as, Smalling.
DDG has been doing a Jim Leighton for 2 years.
Rashford 1st half was vomit. 2nd slightly more awake.
Shaw was the worst for me. He actually didn't just look half-arsed, he just completely gave up on a number of occasions. I'd prefer Rojo there, rather than watch him, repeatedly, surrender responsibility again and again.

Pathetic!! Losing to a team that couldn’t buy a win, yet again struggling to break teams down. Coaching or the lack of is our biggest problem as to why we aren’t cutting through teams, what are we doing in training? What sort of patterns of play and attacking drills are we working on to break down stubborn defences? The answer can’t just be to blow a load of cash on midfielders and hope they come up with the answers themselves.

I am tired of this team, these players. I am tired of being let down game after game.

So to win against spurs and city you don't need to know how to manage a football team? Literally no one in that team can walk off that pitch proud of what they left on the pitch, that's not down to any manager. What have we seen over the last 6 or so years that makes people think anyone in our squad bar 1 or 2 is good enough?
You have missed the point. It isn't the top teams were have a problem with.
It is the teams who are well organised and get behind the ball.
That my friend is the problem.
I am just as frustrated as you.

Ihave a feeling the ful backs are capable of a lot more but are coached to be cautious...
I am not so sure. Wan Bisaka isn't bad technically and can pass around the back but shits his pants of when he has to run with ball or falls down every time he has to put the ball into the box. Shaw is very similar but is better than him going forward. I still cant get what makes him pick Lingard game after game against these teams when he does feck all and everyone knows he brings nothing on the ball. Its like playing Football Manager and being lazy to change that generic first XI regardless of opposition or ability of the individual.

Of course we looked better after Pogba came on, but that's not what good coaching is! Good coaching prepares players to play well in conditions when you don't have your very best individual players to relying upon. There has to be a working, functional tactical system in place that can be efficient and effective against lesser teams than ourselves, especially without Pogba. Simple saying, "give to to Pogba, he'll make something happen", and then banking on the consistency of one individual to do this game-after-game, is an atrocious approach to the game.

Something has to change, and no, not in the boardroom, however true that may be; but within the coaching team as a whole. Specialists, offensive-detailed coaches who can coach patterns of play and replicate it in training so it's visible on the field during actual matches.
Good post.
It has been obvious all season, we barely put two passes together today particularly in the first half. We don’t have anyone who can cross a ball, our corners look as though they have never been practised.
It just looks as though we are are an uncoached team.
Very, very depressing.

AWB can improve. Shaw really can’t

Lingard and Shaw are awful players. It's like playing with 9 men when they both start. We have so many problems at the club and Ole is a big one. Sacking him won't fix everything but it will help.

These clowns have failed several managers. Every single one of them should go before Ole gets the chop.

I have had some serious doubts regarding Ole, but I'm now firmly in favour of him remaining in charge.

Bring in someone like Pochettino or another 'top' manager will just be pressing the reset button again and, thus, giving this bunch of charlatans another stay of execution.

Don't see how Ole can continue to survive with these results, I have been pro Ole, but as the season continues he just has zero tactical awareness or so it seems, but the board I feel will continue to be reluctant to sack him because then the heat will fall on Ed Woodward who would have now seen 4 failed managerial appointments, and obviously being the Glazers main man they do not want that for him.

How is this the same club, let alone mostly the same team that beat City away. Shockingly inconsistent.

The team is all over the place with Ole, hes simply out of his dept. His signings in AWB and Maguire have been shocking as well.

So you think with the current group of players United have it's okay to lose to Watford who are bottom of the league and that a decent manager would not have getting a result?

If I had 140 million pounds to spend I'd buy two much better players than Maguire and AWB.

That was really poor. I fell asleep at half time and my missus had to wake me up for second half, that's never happened to me during a Utd game in 30+ years. Undone all the positives from Spurs and City, there's inconsistency and then there's fecking ineptitude, sadly we fall into the latter.. Never caused Watford a problem, which is really concerning. They need a big performance against Newcastle, and to learn how to kick on from that because they were wearing the Utd shirt today but nothing else resembled Utd.

Gifted them the match. Bad team selection and howlers all across the pitch. If I was in charge I'd put Romero on goal next match. Ddg needs some telling.

Just as I thought after City. Now our amazing players will have the "job done" attitude for the foreseeable future. They did their job, won two tough games. Now it's time for some well deserved rest.

What do you want him to say? I'm incompetent and should be fired on the spot? Of course he'll defend himself.

If I hear the words 'Turned a corner' again between now and the point that Ole is sacked, then i'm going to punch a squirrel.
