Is Pogba as good as gone?

To be fair that's not better what makes you think that he could have played through it? And the Miami thing is after a month of immobilisation and more than two weeks after the cast removal. At which point do you think that he could or should have played through it and why?
Well, if he was able to play pick up basketball, why would it take another month to be able to play football? I don't think he should have been playing pick up basketball if he's injured. Personally. If he's not well enough to play football, for which he's massively well paid, then he shouldn't be taking part in sports which place active stress on an injured ankle.

This is all pretty moot. To me, the bigger issue is that he pretty clearly doesn't want to be here, and is letting his agent run his mouth to try and get him out. Even when he's in the team he's not worth this drama.

Fitness, athletes don't comeback immediately, you need to build your fitness up, it's not different to preseason workouts and he wasn't injured in late November the cast had been removed a few weeks ago.

He actually didn't play pickup basketball. All he did was take a couple shots at the Miami facility in street clothes prior to watching the heat game and people turned that into him playing a full on pick up game. That's been the problem for many that just want him gone, trying to twist anything to fit a scenario in their head. Latest is now Ole and everyone is a bunch of lying turds and this is not some new injury, just all made up, probably will become a "truth" that he didn't actually have surgery, that was just made up too.

What if the scenario turns out to be confirmed it was a charade and he signs for someone else this month?

Almost Orwellian at this stage. Let’s be honest, the media have been out to get Pogba since he came back to United. It will be a self fulfilling prophecy in the end.

Pretty sure everyone was excited to see him in the premiership (even me), that wore off pretty soon with his odd good game, silly dance moves, even sillier hair cuts, talking about moving again and his pain in the arse entourage.

In that case I'll eat crow. However, since it's been reported already that he had the surgery and it could be up to 6 weeks, I doubt anyone is coming to throw 100m plus in the January window. But, let's see.

Haha, well apparently Ole is meeting with the board as we speak to discuss January targets and a certain non playing superstar so there maybe news leaking knowing our Ed.

What does his hair or dance moves have anything to do with this discussion?

The Pogba package, let’s dye my hair sky blue for the Manchester derby not long after Pep reveals he was offered to city by his agent and wonder why he can rub fans up the wrong way?

You do realize that this didn't happen, he didn't dye his hair for the derby, it was down several weeks before that for France.

Well as he changes it more often than I change my toothbrush why did he keep it that for a Manchester derby - he actually likes to be centre of attention.

Because you don't get rid of dye that easily and no one actually cares, unless if you have the maturity of a toddler.

Not really. I just opened the thread and lo and behold, you're the most active poster... where was this activity when he returned vs Watford?
I was abroad, sorry pal. Wasn’t that impressed anyway. Came on when Watford had a 2-0 and sat back allowing him time and space.

You wasn't impressed with his first game back for months and that he looked levels above our team instantly? That says it all to me.

Sat back you say, he created scoring chances for himself and the team in the short period he was on.

If Watford were ''allowing him time and space'', how come the rest of the team achieved the square root of f all?

He's inconsistent and a bit of a gowl.

He's also our best player.

How this thread got to 70 pages, with basically only the above two things as discussion points is fecking mind-boggling.

Sad to say he's on way out in the summer, unless he has a miracle to get fit if he's injured? It's a bit odd after UTD pull out of Haaland, same agent, Pogba has to have a op after only playing 45 mins of one game a few mins of another? Why not have the operation 4 mths ago when he was already out, same issues if so, you'd get better advice on the NHS.
These guys got top draw surgeons, doctors etc. It's a get rid of me now to put money in my pocket with sell on fee.
I honestly believe he's a top player but he doesn't want it here. Everyone should have take a leaf out of SAFs book and took heed of what happend when he left. Just bugger off get as much as you can and end this saga.

Stop bringing up SAF. He wanted him to stay. He's also not the first to leave in search of better opportunities. One thing is certain, name any top player who has played here in the past you like, not one would stay for this car-crash of a team/management with no chance of winning in sight. Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Rooney, Ferdinand would be straight out of the door at the first chance too.

RVP done exactly that, leaving the losers Arsenal to come here to win trophies.

It's obviously hard to accept for fans that we're now in the same situation as Arsenal those years ago, hence all the vitriol towards Pogba. But fans should be directing their frustrations towards Woodward/Glazers who have turned us into this.

The same derby where he scores twice to give us a magnificent come back

Our players should've refused to play for SAF because of the hats & caps he wore.
