What. Does. This. Even. Mean.

This is so open-ended. And hard to believe to mean anything good (which really it should, but meh)

Bullshit article, but at least they mention Jonathan David, a player I have suggested couple of times on this board.

Cheap, class player in best football age and plays position that we need. Of course that we will not try to sign him.
Instead we will spend 3 times more on Rice and bloody Longstaff.

fecking hell
Of course this is ignoring the fact he's seemingly already turned us down once, and probably has again seeing as we're worse than we were in the summer.

Oh wow, that David fella is lightening fast (Ole loves running) but as opposed to many in our squad, esp. JLingz, he can actually score! Who do we need to bribe to get this guy in

He’s been rubbish for Spurs. If we want someone to hit the first man, let’s resign Valencia

As you say he has never wanted to come to us. He wanted Madrid, if not them, then anywhere abroad.

Are we really still at the "considering", "evaluating", "monitoring", "looking at" and "sending officials to watch" x player stage?
We should be close to agreeing fees at this stage.

That would mean we're competent and actually a properly run club. We are none of those things.

We are probably still looking for the key to the warchest. You know how easy it is to lose keys.

Maybe not corner but I think we deserve some answers as to the direction of the club. Everton fans held a protest outside the training ground and were invited in by Marcel Brands to discuss their concerns. I think a similar gesture with MUST would be healthy don't you?
There was an interview with a fan magazine a few weeks ago. That's all you're gonna get.

Technical question here... We used to have to threads for transfer tweets. One tweets only, the other fot comments. Do we still have the tweets only thread? Where??
It's one of the headings at the top of the home page, beside Forum, Match Day etc

Yes this is really the case! Lets just keep adding, adding to the offer for him until he wants to come. I’m sure he will sign once the offer is about 400k per week. Thats the way you do it. He is going to play for the badge, not the money.

And yes, we are going to sign Longstaff for 50mil and Rice for about 100 mil. This club is such a mess and we are getting relegated next year.

The world is not black and white.

We should have done deals already, the fact that we are starting to think about it now means we won't get anyone or we will overspend by double on an average player in the last day of the transfer window. Woodward and Judge classic, these guys are proper footballing gurus.

I don't think Ole appreciates how urgently we need some new players this window. He's so idealistic and is looking for the "right" player to become available.
I'm guessing he's looking for British, family ties to United, can run around all day. He doesn't trust foreign players like Bruno Fernandes will give their all for United. I'll be very surprised if we make any purchases this January. Shame.

To me it seems Ole doesn't have the urgency to bring people in as he feels he's got time on his side, there's no pressure for us to improve right now. Jose for all his many many faults would be having a meltdown right now at the state of the squad and the lack of signings.

Sure. Ole is the one lacking urgency. Clear as day.

I think he doesnt pressure for new players because that way he can continue with the “the kids/boys will learn, we have a young team” nonsense which he thinks buys him time to continue underperforming, and if he spends on new players he won’t have that card anymore and will have more pressure on him. anyway he’s a deadman walking I wouldn’t let him choose our new players, most certainly he won’t be here to use them next season.

Further proof to my belief that some players are literally trafficked around the world.
That and proof that some players just aren’t as good as their agent hyped up the internet to believe.

Do you genuinely believe that's his thought process? I really struggle to believe that anyone would actually think that...
