I suppose, meant that Billingham wouldn't play in Youth Cup for Birmingham - he plays regulary for their first team.

Yeah that's been confirmed, but you'd be surprised how often lads who regularly feature in first-teams at 16/17 who still turn out in the FAYC.
Unless they've changed the rules recently not sure we could offer a five year contract to a 16 year old even if we wanted to.
