Sanchez was always going to come back as no one would want to pay his salary. All these clowns did was letting inter use him for a year at a time when we needed players in exchange of some pocket change spared in terms of salary.
This.

Well, Ole was talking in general about January signings when I said the thing about Alexis.

What are you guys expecting him to say? Best thing would be not to mention Alexis, but he was a january signing as well, and he's obviously not going to trash his own player without reason. I read somewhere he's only played 214 minutes on loan at Inter.

Unless we can offload him, we're stuck with him until 2022, is that when his contract runs out? Found two articles from Jan 2018 that says four-and-a-half-year contract.
I'm thinking he'll be given a shot in pre-season, and then either stays on as a backup, or we try to loan him again. Unless there's a buyer of course.

The guy is deluded with some of the comments. Why can he not be more angry! This team accepts rubbish because he tells the world it is okay and we are in transition!

He's just trying to scare both fans and board with that Sanchez comment. Light a fire under Ed's arse, so to speak.
How much bigger can the fire get! Every manager that's ever worked with Woodward thinks he's a complete moron, as do the fans and, Neil 'Goebbels' Ashton aside, so do most of the press. It's quite possible that his employers are also starting to come around to this view. The fire under Ed's arse must be something akin to a nuclear explosion, at this point.

It gets worse by the week. All Ole needs to do is stay vague and let them pressure mount on Ed/Glazers but he keeps bringing criticism on himself with his stupid quotes.

I fecking give up if that Alexis quote is true.

In fairness if I wanted to ramp up anger towards the board I'd say something silly like that too

Yeah, blame Ole for this to. Obviously we gave Sanchez such a stupid salary that it's impossible to get rid on him. This is on Ed/the board/Mourinho/who ever was involved when signing Sanchez.

He has been consistently saying that players will come back from loans. He said the same thing about Smalling a few weeks back. He also praised Alexis, Fellaini and Lukaku right before they left. It's all bullshit, stop being idiots.

Cant wait to see how acolytes gonna spin Sanchez thing.
Probably lay the blame at the feet of Woodward and the glazers. Another example of Ole saying we're working on stuff all window and knowing we need to strengthen, and then changing tune at the end when it's apparent that nothing is happening.

If we do not sign anyone and there are no major changes in the club's structure by the end of the season, it is likely we are sold come summer.

Surly Ole should have some sort of awareness about him that it isn't a great thing to say at this point in time.

I could understand stand if we brought him back now with injuries but to loan him out for a season only to bring him back is beyond stupid.

I've never been pro Ole as I didn't want him to get the job in the first place but I've never been anti Ole either but saying stupid stuff like this isn't going to endear himself to anyone.

I don't know what people want him to say . Fergie never gave any update on potential transfers so why would Ole or any manager?

They are not involved in negotiations
SAF didn't have to. He was the Head of a juggernaut and everyone trusted him to do what was right. Times have completely changed. No one trusts what's going on at the club and it's only fair to put pressure on to find out how far we've actually fallen.

That Sanchez comment was weird and as others have said it could be Oles way of showing discontent towards the board so questions are worth asking.

Depending on to whom I could accept that for the long term benefit. Have no idea how many consortiums could afford the asking price though can't see it being many at all.

Yes, yes, there's a good boy, Ole. Good little Sockpuppet, tell the fans exactly what the board have piped into your earpiece. Sanchez will be like a new signing, hence we don't need any new attackers....

This entire setup makes me vomit.

He also said this season we would play with a high energy and high press.. but....

I reckon the loan was basically putting him on the shop window.

There was still a chance of him having a great season in Serie A with Inter and attracting potential buyers. The only possible way we could be rid of him.

Always knew that Sanchez was just loaned out and would probably come back. But still heartbreaking.

Different approach in the transfer market?
We’ve got players here that we’re working hard to get back as well and if there is something out there then the club is pursuing that and it’s difficult.
I can’t remember how many good ones we’ve brought in and good deals in January.
Henrik was good, Nemanja and Patrice, I’m talking about it’s hard, very hard, the clubs don’t wanna lose their best players. Alexis will come back in the summer and will prove us all wrong.
Can’t believe this!!

What a circus this club has turned into! Why loan him out in the first place if he is that good? Ole is a bullshit spitting machine.

It's not up to Ole though is it. No doubt Ole would prefer to get rid of him, but clearly Sanchez is coming back because we've asked Inter for a permanent deal and they've told us to feck off.

He's played seven games for them all season and scored one goal. So they're not exactly going to be jumping at the chance to give him a permanent deal.

Ole can't really say anything else at this point can he.

Look guys, clearly Inter has decided not to buy him after his loan expires considering he's been injured for pretty much 80% of the season so far.

Ole HAS to welcome him back. It's not his choice.

no signings and now this sanchez thing? The club also didn't post anything about kobe a global icon. Time to accept that we are run by incompetent idiots and until that changes we are ruined.
They have. They also were and should be under no obligation to do so.

I dont think the club is in the right state either, but they did post about Kobe on Facebook.
i didn't see it on the football world reacts to kobe articles so my bad on that. Shit is depressing for united fans right now though.
