Conspiracy theory or not, it is mental that after years of treating the club like utter shit, this happens within days of him hiring a Sun PR guru.
And then odd that it is leaked to all big media outlets - BBC etc - as many would choose to keep it provate for security purposes and to ensure that copycat endeavors don't occur, and also odd that it occurred the same day that Utd confirm Fernandes deal makes progress...

Honestly, am I in such a small minority who isnt ‘that’ bothered or disgusted.
Yeah they went too far and I dont like the idea of his family being intimidated but really its just about them deserving a police caution or whatever. It was just a small number of people with a can of spray paint and a cpl of flares. No one was ever going to be hurt.
OK a couple of idiots going a bit too far but it was just a flare lobbed over a gate. Theres worse happen every day in every town.

I saw a tweet last night at about 9pm before the news broke, saying MEC are back. I’m sure it’s a mixture of older and newer fans though.
I’m not condoning it at all, but it’s nothing new. Football fans in England are pretty sheltered compared to what happens in Europe.
Anyone who's ever lived in Manchester or even visited will know this is just classic scally behaviour. I cannot believe this. What a disgrace! The man has a wife and very young children! Wtf. The press and pundits also wind up some fans who allow and also feed into the toxicity. There is a way to protest against him without threatening violence. I hope the club sends a strong statement out against this kind of behaviour. Disgusting.

Good post, I don't condone it but I understand why it happened. As I said I'm glad the family are safe and unharmed, I don't care about Ed Woodward that's the point. I find it disingenuous to show real sympathy like many in here. We aren't talking about an honest man who's just got in to a unfortunate situation. He helped broker a deal for owners on funds that didn't exist to buy a club, that's unethical and crippled the progress of the football club, at the expense of millions of fans.
It's a great that you feel you don't have to tolerate that in your private circle. I applaud that, I'll challenge anyone that I feel is dishonest in mine. I have contrasting opinions based on who I meet but like to give everyone a chance. You can find my opinion disgusting but I'm going to to say it. There is momentum growing against the owners, it's consequences that have brought these actions.
Saying they are going to get life time bans if found. Deservedly so.

I think the answer lies with Neil Ashton, or whichever Sun reporter broke the sinister and sickening story instantaneously, or whoever arranged the family not to be in at 11pm on a school night, or one of the operatives of the professional looking camera footage which happened to catch this disgraceful act. Agreed, Woodward is a total twat and is clearly leading a rearguard action to launder his abysmal reputation with United fans.
