Tackles for Forwards:

All players:

Goals in the PL this season:

Goals in the last 12 months (non-penalties) for players under 23 from the Liverpool Echo.

The stats regarding goals might not be impressive to some but I think when you couple that in with his 'tackle' stats for this season it shows exactly why he is such an excellent player for his age. His combination of work rate and output in goals/assists is unmatched by anyone else in the PL at the moment in terms of a Forward. He is by far ahead of the next best 'tackles' by 17 and he isn't too far behind Rashford and Abraham in terms of goals from non-penalties in the last 12 months. I know that stats aren't everything but if you watch the game against Brighton last week he had a complete performance and his work rate was brilliant. I love him and he is pivotal to our success. I am so glad we tied him down to a new 5 year contract.

EDIT: Apologies for the tiny images, I don't know another site to upload images too after tinypic went down.

Tbf I’d be fuming if we sold him right now. I know that’s a mad amount of money but as I posted above his work rate is incredible (easily the best of any forward in the league) and he’s popping up with goals and assists too. He’s invaluable for us and no way should we be selling him in January.

Side note: Also, Barca are massive cnuts but that’s not new news. They seem to do this every season where they flirt with a player for a while or they put in a really late bid for someone.

I don’t blame Richarlison if he wants to go in the summer but he just signed a new 5 year contract so we hold a ton of weight in this exchange.

£85m bid from Barcelona rejected
What the hell? How and, more importantly, why does Barcelona spend money like this? £85m for Richarlison is maybe as mad as the £140m they spent on Coutinho. Honestly don't think that the forward area is where they need to strengthen most either. Just play Messi or Griezmann as a false #9 with one in behind and pace on the wings.

Fair play though. They're not afraid to test the market even when they're ahead of most their domestic rivals.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Will be interesting to see how the player himself reacts to this.

For a young Brazilian, the lure of Barca is pretty big and chances to move there don't come around often.

That sounds a lot like fake news. Richarlison is good but not world class and Barca know better.

£85m  Barcelona really have no solution to their problems except throw more money at them, they're very poorly run for a club of their stature, which is saying something coming from a United fan. If this offer comes in the summer I can see Everton potentially accepting but not with a few days till the window closes. With the way Barca spend Everton could probably push them above £100m if they really tried.

Will almost certainly hand in a transfer request now. An opportunity he can’t miss.

Everton paid £50m for him didn't they? Given that he's their best player, I don't think £85m is as ridiculous as everyone is making out. He signed a 5 year contract a few weeks ago.

That you may but if this offer is true,I can't imagine he'll be a happy player with the thought of Barcelona wanting him.He might kick up a right stink?

Do they? They seem to be spending reclessly most of the time.
I mean...Coutinho, Dembele, Griezmann were all considered great bordering on world class when they purhcased them. Richarlison is simply not at that level to command a price like that.

He's worth way more than that to you in my opinion -

You bought him for 35 mil rising up to 50 depending on clauses & personally I felt your club bought him as a guaranteed business plan of getting a good profit in the future when you sell him off. I think you can get more for him (maybe 95mil?) but end of January is a horrible time for the transfer anyway.

He’s worth £85m to anyone that can afford it. The kid is dynamite.

Never going to happen, but if Liverpool were to lose one of their forwards for a fortune he’d be amazing in that side.

In the middle of the season with no replacement, good on Everton for holding out for a record fee.

Still very young and proven at a high level. Also been very good for Brazil.

A tad expensive, but would be a good signing for them nevertheless

He’d be a good fit for Suarez, works his arse off for the team, pretty tough, and can score. Not in Sauraz’s league quality-wise but very few are

Really arrogant and disrespectful from Barca to do this so close to the end of the window. If he was their target and they were desperate, they should have approached Everton and given them time to prepare.

They will be hoping player will kick off now and they can force this through.

Everton now risk having their best player annoyed that he has been denied a dream move for the rest of the PL season. Or they sell him and have no time to get anyone in.

Really harsh and a tough spot for Everton now.

If he kicks off and Barca are desperate, they can probably push this up to 100 million, which Ancelotti might fancy for summer planning. They have a lot of work to do to an unbalanced squad.

The state of football when Everton are in a position to turn down a hundred million euros for one player...

Lack of planning from Barca. Why not do this a month ago?
