Who? yes that's what I want to know but the super soaraway (we never make things up) Sun says:

"Southend prodigy Nathan Bishop has arrived at Manchester United's training ground.

There has been no announcement about the 20-year-old after Sol Campbell admitted he was as good as gone."

He's signed for the reserve team by the looks of it, wouldn't get too excited.

Who cares about keepers. No current top team has a keeper they promoted from their academy. They are always bought.

Hopefully Kovar will get a loan for the remainder of the season, he’s at first team football level, albeit not at United yet.

suppose someone needs to start for the reserves
Last season (November 2018) United got free agent Paul Woolston ex-Newcastle United U-23s, who is 21 now. But he's hardly played, as Kovar is doing very well. United currently have at least 10 keepers at U-18, U-23, or out on loan.

Has O'hara renewed with us? How is he doing?
Grant will probably retire at the end of the season, opening up the 3rd keeper spot.

Romero may look to move or we may try to sell? He has done decently for us.

So potentially 2nd keeper spot will be available. Would hendo want to rotate with DDG?

Why? it doesnt makes sense for him nor us, he wont get minutes here even as he would be third choice. I think Grant has player two games since he arrived 2-3 seasons ago, and if we are looking to challenge De Gea's place then we have Henderson who's young and really promising.

The only thing I can think of is he improved his wages, thats it.

We won’t ‘rotate’ goalkeepers. Henderson would be the number 2, and all that comes with that. He wouldn’t want that, and nor should he. He should only return here when we sell De Gea.

We do rotate now, for some cup games.
Agree with the rest that he shouldn't come in as second choice.

Henderson will never be #2. He clearly has his sights set on England. You can't get that job by being #2 somewhere.

Why would we want to sell Romero - the best reserve keeper in the world?

O'Hara is doing well. 31 goals conceded in 27 games. 8 clean sheets. 1.15 goals per 90 minutes. Below 1 goal per 90 minutes is generally considered good (by me). Nathan Bishop was not doing so well: 37 goals conceded in 12 starts. No clean sheets. Averaging 3.07 goals per 90 min. Obviously, a lot depends on your defence.

Interestingly he's only 6'1 according to Wikipedia.

I wonder why he'd move to us, considering he's starting in League 1 at 20? Obviously it would be incredibly difficult to turn down the money, but he has De Gea and Henderson ahead of him mid- to long-term here

Maybe he came here for the coaching? We seem to be doing good with keepers: Henderson, O'Hara, Kovar. Also keeping Romero in good condition.

De Gea is in the way down and while Henderson may get first crack at being the number there is no guarantee he will take it

How many GK we have on books, loaned ones included? We seem to keep buying GKs a lot.

There's more chance of Jesse Lingard becoming a fans favourite than this kid playing for Manchester United's first-team, but he couldn't turn the move down, even if he only stays 2 or 3 years he'll get the best coaching available at a top facility alongside some of the best goalies(across all age groups) in the business which will help him massively with his career going forward.

Hmm, I'd hoped he was an "undiscovered" goal-scorer. Mind you, he want score any less than Lingard

Conceding 37 league goals in 12 appearances doesn't make me think he's actually any good. Oh well. I suppose the club know what they're doing :houllier:
