It doesn’t say a lot for Nuno that you haven’t overhauled us yet despite us having one of the worst managers in the league.
It must also be disappointing that Leicester have streaked way ahead of you while even Sheff U are ahead.
Nuno and Wolves are both very overrated
Not really. In fact the last thing I am is disappointed in what Nuno has done for my club. The man is God in the eyes of most Wolves fans.
I don’t really care what other clubs do. We will just carry on going about our business regardless.
We are quite fortunate in that we don’t have the same ‘table-pressure’ as clubs like United and it doesn’t really matter where we are in the league, as long as we keep performing well and improving. That’s the right way around for me, as if you concentrate on the basics rather than short-term wins, the table will sort itself out in the long run.
We’ve played you twice, we’ve played City and Liverpool twice. Spurs away is probably the most difficult fixture we have left on paper and we won there last year. I’m quietly confident for the remainder of the season.
As for United fans basing their opinion of Wolves solely on the games between the 2 sides, that’d be like Wolves basing their entire opinion of United on the same games! The games we’ve played have been shocking. Both sides have performed nowhere near the best of their ability. We’ve basically completely cancelled each other out.
Nuno is not a negative manager, he’s a counter-attacking manager and in most games, this side entertains me more than almost any other Wolves side I’ve seen. Just against United, Nuno has probably been wary of leaving space in behind for your counter, so we’ve generally been deeper than other games.
