Saïd Benrahma whose 24 years of age and plies his trade in the championship with Brentford is quite a skilful right winger. We've lacked squad depth especially in the RW department. We could perhaps get this guy for 15 to 20m. At 24 years, he should be getting into his prime and could provide quality depth and rest for our main winger (possibly Sancho or Ziyech). It seems as though Arsenal are sniffing around for his services. We should be making intelligent acquisitions from the league (aka Grealish, Jude Bellingham and possibly Benrahma)

Does anyone know more about him and whether he would be a good fit at United?

Hard to tell whether you are looking at a next Mahrez or next Taarabt.

We should be looking at much higher calibre players than ones plying their trade in the Championship. Standards seem to be dropping at a colossal rate.

Is this sarcasm? Mahrez started out in the championship with Leicester.

Strange that he didn't get much of an opportunity at Nice. Anybody know why?

Theres a crazy amount of nutmegs and roulettes in that video! Not sure he's our level though. Would probably thrive at Leicester.

Yeah and proved he was good enough in the Premier League for 3 years before City bought him. We should be looking at the Sancho’s of this world.

Are they?
Yes, they are 14 points ahead of us. They have a better midfield, better fullbacks, better striker, and their CBs are on par with our CBs. Add De Gea, Rashford and Pogba to their team and they would be going for the title in a normal season.

Obviously not, the 14 points gap is just a coincidence.
Thought so. Pretty sure we also finished 14 points ahead of them last year despite a rogue manager trying to get the sack, and one of our worst runs at the end of the season under a Molde manager. Strange coincidence

Apart from Benrahma there are so many bargain deals out there which would strengthen the team immensely with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Grealish, Jude Bellingham. We do need a good combination of superstars and good hardworking players who can take it to the next level. The benefit of getting these talented players is that they wouldn't cost much and they would settle for wages that the average player gets.

Liverpool got Van Dijk and Mane from Southampton, Henderson from Sunderland, Salah from Roma, Firmino from 1899 Hoffenheim, Oxlade from an underwhelming Arsenal, Shaqiri from Stoke City, Wijnaldum from Newcastle. Practically all them became superstars after they played for Liverpool. Something we could possibly learn from our rivals.

I'd love him, think he's a proper exciting winger. Hard to tell if he'd be able to play the way he does in the prem, but if Brentford doesn't come up, he'll move on.

Many teams were interested in singing him after his second season in PL, Leicester didn't sell him.

There are many good players playing in championship, also we should be looking at player quality, not where he is playing (obviously not saying we should be looking good players from Indian league).

I haven't watched the player but if he is good then we should be looking at players like him. Won't take much out of budget and can improve squad, while we can spend big on players who will walk into first 11.

I like him, he does have similarities to Mahrez but I think the latter had better decision making. This lad is a very good player but is guilty of over cooking it sometimes when lay off to a team mate is a better option.

They are better than us but many of those 14 Points are down to them having no injuries while we have plenty, and them not playing in Europe.

You look at our current team injury-free and we are on paper at least on their level.

As for their midfield being better than us - Fernandes, Pogba, McTominay and Fred are better than Leicesters central midfield.

Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison walk into our team.

Fernandes may prove to be immense but right now, i'm taking Leicesters midfield all day long.

Tielemans is better than McTom and Ndidi is better than Fred.

Pogba is obviously a cut above, but rarely in form.

Its not even a debate for me

Yes and also add to that that they have had a rather injury free season. Only now that Ndidi is injured.

What is a normal season?

Brentford have a channel;

That skill from Benrahma from Mbeumo’s goal was unbelievable
Benrahma the next Eden hazard Or Messi !!
If Benrahma goes to Chelsea!surely He'll be the next Edin Hazard!!!sorry Brentford for this comment!!!that's the world of football !!!!

From the last game vs Middles
Feeling bad for that player getting double-nutmegged by Benrahma X

I've watch a couple of the highlights - he's involved in a lot of goals.

He’s been class this season, although I’m tempted to say a large reason for that is he’s playing in a great system, in a front three with Watkins and Mbeumo. They all fit each other well and offer different things.
As for him being a fit here? Firstly our scouts are too stupid to pick up on a player like him. Secondly if they did I think he’d struggle a bit under such a poorly coached system.

Not to mention the grand canyon-sized gulf of quality between the managers...

Beautiful footballer, the type you'd happily pay money to watch.

Give me these types of ballers over your Milners any day.

If it was a beauty contest where you got points for styles, then yeah of course.

But even today, at age 24 vs. 34, Milner would have that lad in his pocket. Then he would bomb forward to support the attack.

Milner was maybe a bad choice from you!

Does he have football IQ?

Looks skillfull but a bit fifa Street like rather than stick a ball in to the net when it matters or provide an assist.
