If he actually had a RW and a AM to pass the ball too, perhaps his offensive output would improve. Mostly, as is the case on any part of the pitch for our current team, he’s left to himself to magically dribble three players and perfectly cross the ball go a none existential AM9

Add sancho ahead of him and we’d not even worry.

we’re asking him to be the main source of attacks with little help, there isn’t many full backs in football that can do that.

He was the official man of the match against Wolves but got so much shit, even though he was our best defender and created best chance of the game.

I dont think he's bad, but I dont understand why we bought him. Ole has said he wants us to attack and play the ' United way ' and we end up buying maybe a full back who is much better defensively than going forward.

Dont get me wrong, defensively he is class, but does that fit in? Shouldnt our fullbacks atleast be decent going forward if he wants to play 4321 or 433?

We even use him as a wingback/right midfielder in a 352...

Because he's a bit clueless. He was also on about playing high pressing football, and somehow has managed to assemble one of the slowest CB partnerships in the league.

Because Wan Bissaka looks like a generational talent defensively.

If we can get & coach the attacking side to him then we have some player. If we don't - we still have some very very useful player that people need to stop complaining about because even if he sits on the subs bench with a 50 mil transfer to his name & comes on to guarantee that players like Sterling & Mane get 0-1 or 2 chances a game then there is a player there that is more than useful.

We have had players that have missed chances through Wan Bissaka's Crosses that you seem to miss. We have people talking about the lack of coaching & the lack of tactics of the attacking players to try and move around and create chances for each other & yet Wan Bissaka gets pointed at individually by you - (just like the other randomly unfair players you point fingers at) to say they are not good enough.

How is that fair to point a finger at a player when the manager & the coach is clearly only getting some of his tactics right and alot of his decisions wrong.

MOTM for me. Defended everything, there were many close calls that he still managed to block/deflect/tackle, fantastic assist, worked his ass off, wanted to kill this cnut Azpi.

He really needs to back his ability. His ‘issues’ going forward are clearly mental, as he obviously has it in him to whip in crosses and cause full backs problems. I expect the club knew this when we bought him so you’d expect this area to develop over time.

This is the best purchase we’ve made in ages. Just because he isn’t a monster going forward like Trent doesn’t mean he’s not a top fullback.

I have no issues with this guy.

Whether he eventually becomes good at crossing and becomes a good RWB then great.

If he is only good at defence and we have to use him sparingly - the guy is like no other in defence RB.

The guy may even be even good at CB one day. I just absolutely love the player.

He won't be deadwood because even if he is a substitute - he will be damn useful.

Attacking wise, we hardly have a set tactic, a set bunch of players, a set formation or potentially a set coaching method for him to perfect at the age of 21 - just relax with him.

I can honestly one day see this guy even as a damn sweeper in a back 3 if Shaw is playing as a CB nowadays.

Always backed him. He's not even been here a whole season and he's got two assists from beautiful crosses and could possibly have more if we had strikers who were better in the air.

No doubt his delivery needs work but just look at the improvement he's shown already in his short time. Its not like he's like Shaw and still delivering shite after 5 seasons.

For the goal he was very good, before the cross the way he beat Willian so easily was class.

He created our best chances vs Liverpool, Burnley, Wolves and then assist vs Chelsea. His attacking game is improving and he is more confident in the attack now.

For all the stick he's received recently,he sure tends to show up for big games

He's definitely got room for improvement moving forwards but I trust him the most out of all our defenders when we play top 6 opposition

Another lovey cross. For all the stick he gets he’s probably our best crosser of the ball from the full back positions.

Really dont understand why people target him. He isnt Trent Alexander Arnold going forward but not every back has to be like that. He is an excellent right back. An excellent cross (not the first one of the season but i remember Lingard miskicking one of his crosses for example) but also an excellent block on a Pedro attempt for example.

Still young and will hopefully become even better. Dalot will never be able to become a starter now Awb is at the club.

MoTM in my book, fantastic assist, great defensively as usual and then that monster saving block in the second half to top it off.

Could have 5 assists at a club that doesn't have a solid formation, starting 11, solid tactic or possibly coaching.

Boy can get better.

Yeah I noticed that, his attacking side is a lot better than it was, he'll pick up a few more assists before the season's out.

I adored him since his first game. A great lad, caracter and will get better and better. A silent leader/warrior on the pitch.

More importantly, one that doesn't have a striker that will sit on the edge of the 6 yard box or penalty spot. Martial in that position more often and AWB would have more assists.

Im okay with Martial playing false 9/ deep lying forward but only when Rashford & Greenwood are playing on either side of him in a wide strikers partnership because then Wan Bissaka's Crosses are useful whilst Martial is useful to the wide strikers.

When Rashford & Greenwood aren't playing - then Ighalo needs to play more to use that type of cross.

James as a RW early on in the season. instead of Greenwood has hurt Wan Bissaka's space to get forward easily and make crosses because James does it himself whilst it makes Martial only have Rashford as a wide forward on the left to interlink with.

When Greenwood is ready & if this formation sticks under a different manager - I can imagine Wan Bissaka setting up Rashford & Greenwood some nice goals.

Brilliant play for his assist and one super block in the 2nd half. Far too many poor moments, especially in the first half.

His crossing is the only real good attacking ability he has at the moment. He has to improve in a few area to become a real united FB who can support attacking regularly.

Of course, his defending is always on point.

AWB has been a great signing and will only get better.

Anyone who says otherwise is just wrong. Dont understand why he gets so much shit on here.

Brilliant defender and not as bad going forward as people make out.

Stick him in any functioning side and his attacking stats would be better, much better. When going forward here he has to pull it back because Martial and Rashford don't typically attack the ball in the box as they are usually sitting on the edge, the 2 times they have he has whipped in great crosses.

Also didn't realise he was so skilful!

Glad to see him getting down the outside more and putting good crosses in. More of that and we will score more, especially against the lesser sides.

He's definitely improved on his attacking part of his game and dunno why people have been given him shit on here, he's arguably been our most consistent player this season.

I think he has the ability to do this, but we lack bodies in the box.

We need to have Ighalo starting against lesser teams.

The pass from Fred helped. Too often we have central midfield players passing the ball to our full backs feet which makes them have to stand up the opposition player or go backwards. We don't play those balls into space enough. It allowed AWB to have a bit of separation.
