His game management is the one of the worst I have seen. So he doesn't start Bruno but was running Rashford to the ground and even starting him against Colchester. This is shocking management.

Maguie and Martial apart, the XI we put out today was about the level of Brugge
 of course it is, poor little Ole, he's such a unique and talented manager he doesn't deserve this, he's on the level of Guardiola and Klopp and should be at a top top club winning all the silverware. Ott? Yeah but I cba anymore it's like talking to a brick wall

I don’t understand why this is hard for people to understand? They really see football as Football Manager or FIFA2020 and love to hate.
Lingard, Pereira, Mata are all shit but that shouldn't impact the simple things a manager is expected to instill like organization, movement and overall tactical plan. There's so many teams that play much better football than we do with less quality. How anyone watching this game can still think Ole is the right manager is beyond me. Improving the quality of our players will mean we have more individual moments of brilliance but overall as a team we will remain just as inconsistent.

The guy never said anything of the sort, simply that the Brugge squad is equal to our starting lineup tonight minus Maguire and Martial.

Weird.

Absolutely shocking performance. You don't need superstars to play decent football.

Another dreadful performance.
Good away performance away from home.
Squad, thin as it is, is not worse than Brugge, Sheffield, Newcastle etc. People can't understand this either.
But worse then City, Tottenham, Chelsea and so on? So what?

For feck sakes. We're playing some shit team from the Belgian league. Under LvG, we put 5 past them.
They are not shit. A CL team. We are playing better then them. And what happened years ago has nothing to do now. Don’t live in past and don’t be hater.

Whats the sense in resting players when youre home to watford next, to prolong the difficulty in the second leg when youve Everton away after it?

Has to go now. Sorry.
The next six games I’d say will be enough to determine rather he’s here next season or not. A mixture of big teams in City and Spurs and weaker teams like Brighton, Watford and Sheffield. If his run against the teams he can counter attack all day ends and his run against the cannon fodder continues, we may be closer to 15th than 4th by the end of it. Pep has definitely figured him out anyway.

All starting to feel really sour for me. Never wanted to dislike him but if I had to use 3 words to describe him as a manager I'd go with stubborn pathetic and naïve.

Has nothing about him but poor decisions

Yes, we also won only 1 out of 4 away knockout ties on the way to winning it in 16/17. Getting through is all that matters. Even better if some players get a rest.
Rest from what?

We don't look like going through with performances like these. Led by a terrible manager.

The most insane post I’ve ever read. It doesn’t seem to understand the concept of “resting” which is mental.

You think that Watford is easy game for us? At OT where we need to create something and not just sitting deep and waiting some lucky goal?

Jesus wept, we rested some players and drew away to Brugge. Hardly the end of the world. We’ll comfortably beat them at home.

Could have brought in Bruno little earlier but a good result away from home.

We've just had two weeks off. Playing one of Fred or Bruno instead of the unholy trinity together wouldn't be that risky at this point.

Surely that applies to the “needs more transfer window crew”

He has no clue about coaching a side at all. We do not know how to pass and how to move off the ball. It is always left to the brilliance of an individual to score a goal. He should be sacked ASAP if only for one reason. Playing Lingard who should have been the first one out of the door, even before Fellaini.

Was thinking the same thing while watching it. Lingard, Pereira, Mata, Dalot. I'm not even sure they'd get in the Brugge side

No, but i'd consider it a lot easier than Everton away.

Really extraordinary thinking that there are more opportune times to rest players than others. Especially coming off the back of a winter break.

I mean id understand if we'd left Bruno at home. But we brought him the whole way to Belgium.

Those 4 are not good enough squad players - we have to rest players but those are the donkeys that have to come in.

Are you drunk? Go to bed mate

Ha ha, my God.

Next up, Derby have as good a squad as us.
Nice strawman. They dropped out of a CL group with PSG and Real, despite the Belgian League hardly being as strong as the PL they're a good team.

Romero, Williams*, Shaw, Dalot*, Lindelof, Mata and Matic about Club Brugge level. Lindgard and Pereira would not get into that first XI.
* Will improve with age

It was a gamble. It paid off. If we beat Watford on Sunday it's been an excellent week

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Predictably drab affair, 1-1 isn't the worst result though and I expect Utd to get the job done in the next leg of the tie.

To those saying that this game should mean his sacking - get a grip!

OGS plays crap footy, this is a given at this point. His in game management is crap, this is a given at this point.

What were you expecting from this game!? Europa away games are often drab affairs, and this Utd side and manager aren't exactly known for sparkling footy and excitement.

There are games and results that Ole deserves to've been sacked after - this isn't one of them.

He's a dull, crap manager who plays dull, drab footy, but a 1-1 away draw in the Europa isn't a bad result, let alone a sackable one.

it will have, sure. I just think we don't need to play it too safe at the moment. Fred and Bruno are very fit players, and playing Limgard, Mata and Pereira together is asking for trouble.

Thankfully, Martial bailed us out again, though.
