BT sport is a shit. Rio is the only good thing about them. And the app never fecking works.
Lost some respect for Rio when he was going in on Newcastle fans for criticizing the way Mike Ashley is running the club. Totally nothing to do with his merchandise partnership with the owner, of course.

Or maybe he just thought United would finish outside the top 4?

We're not keeping this form you forever you know.
No he actually said he predicted us to finish outside the top 4 because he doesn't want us to make top 4.

That's the definition of being biased.

Oh yeah, can't argue that. He's done plenty I disagree with, he's also flogging a dodgy dietry thing on the side which seems pretty immoral.

Watching the highlights on YouTube you would never have known that Kimpempe should have already been sent off and that Di Maria was offside. I know I'm just being raw at the moment but fecking hell at least show some level of non-bias you twats.

I have to question the wisdom of inviting a man like Paul Ince onto National Television to offer his tactical analysis on a football match.

I never even heard it alluded to on TV. I’m curious because I read a few posters say so after the goal went in, but I don’t think BT even showed a replay.

I thought so aswell when I saw it on tv. But there was no VAR and no nothing so I thought it was all good. But you know its hard when Hargreaves is the one talking a bit of sense.

Having watched a replay of the goal Di Maria looks comfortably onside. Bailly and Lindelof both playing him on.

When Steve started talking about us stepping over the sprayed line for a freekick, and then essentially got told to shut the feck up and concentrate on important stuff. Not in those words obviously.

Not exclusive to BT Sport but fecking annoying how much we had to hear about Neymar and Cavani being injured while barely any reference was made whatsoever to two of our starting attacking having to be hooked before the second half due to injury.

The commentary team is poor. And it's really annoying every year during the CL knock out ties they always bring the scores up from the other game. Tried staying away from the Roma Porto score and they bring it up in huge text across the screen. Wankers.

That Fletcher guy has to be one of the worst commentators. All the sky main commentators are miles better than him. I can’t believe people give Tyler stick. I rather listen to Tyler than Fletcher.

Looking back at the highlights of the PSG game, McManaman and Fletcher (to a lesser extent) really didn't do justice to what was a historic night delivered in just about the most dramatic circumstances you could ask for. Needed a Peter Drury in that moment.

Also, the punditry team should be in the stadium rather than the Stratford studio for all KO games.

When the CL was on Sky/ITV they at least gave it some gravitas.

I could listen to Drury's commentary from Roma v Barcelona every day. That's up there with some of the greatest moments in CL history. Roma have risen from their ruins!

I actually loved Fletchers' description and build up to Rashford's penalty! Describing how monumental the moment was for him and the club.

And then the...
"How's your bottle???"....."OH HE SMASHED IT!!!!!" (Almost like Rashford said, what bottle, smashing it into tiny pieces!) "What a penalty from Marcus Rashford!!!"

That or maybe I watched this video from JTG Productions a bit too much and the music in the background made the commentary more awesome than it was.

"How's your bottle?" is one of the worst commentary lines I've ever heard for such a huge moment in football. It's some lads banter nonsense. Use a thesaurus or something, you cretin.

Also, the fact that Rashford had a poor game and he was the first to grab the ball for the penalty showed he had plenty of "bottle" anyway.

They are returning to having the lunch time kick offs after a few years of having the evening kick offs. Which means PL Tonight which was one of the few worthwhile shows they had is gone. They've spent a ton of money to move a step back.

BT sport on Now TV was promised for " early 2019"....still not here.
I bet when it finally comes they still charge for a pass even if you have a BT sport subscription, that's what is being hinted on twitter..

I’d like to thank BT for breaking my love of football. I never signed up for it so missed basically all of the CL and any other PL games that were on. And I didn’t miss it at all. It’s kind of weaned me off football. Sure I’ll watch United when I get tickets or when the odd game is on sky but I don’t watch any other football nowadays and I used to watch every match that was on much to the annoyance of my wife. I’ve found other interests to occupy my time.

"Where is Gareth, Macca?"

"Dunno Fletschsch, Isco is shite and offers nothing. Gareth should be playing."

Those two were fecking intolerable tonight. Made funnier by the fact that Isco scored and Real were comfortable but when "Gareth" came on they absolutely shat the bed.
