Losing to Norwich last night means Leicester have now lost 6 of their last 10 games and are 13 in the form table over that time frame. Is it just a blip or are Leicester in fact not are good as some were making out and were in fact playing way above their level for the first 15 or so games of the season?

Wins for United and Chelsea this weekend could suddenly put them in striking distance of Leicester and bring them into the "top 5 fight". Are Leicester good enough to hold on or will United and Chelsea's inconsistency let them just about stumble over the line and into the Champions League again?

Breandan (fat fraud) imploding again when it matters.

Edit: oh shit forgot Frank is a fat fraud already, make it be Brendan Fraud or Fat Fraud #2.

Leicester and Chelsea both looking very vulnerable right now but it's all conjecture unless we can maintain our own form. They're both there for the taking though.

They’re fine they just don’t have a ton of squad depth so when key players are injured or out of form, they’re a lot worse. It’s hilarious to me that earlier in the season people had hopes they’d be able to compete with Liverpool for the title. I said at the time they’d end up dropping back in to the pack that’s competing for a top four place, and here we are. They should retain a top four place, over the course of the season they’ve been worthy of it, though their current form is quite alarming.

Vardy having a kid fecked them over. He hasn’t scored since, has he?

Injuries to key players, people still underestimate it.

They were also over performing according to their underlying statistics earlier in the season.

They should still have enough to get over the line in 4th though.

If (and that’s a very big if) we beat Everton tomorrow, Leicester will still be 10 points ahead with only 10 games remaining. They are safe in top 4 in my opinion. Although they might still lose some ground between now and the end of the season, I fully expect them to make it there.

No way are the other teams chasing top 4 consistent enough to capitalise on any Leicester slump.

They're definitely struggling, but I think they'll get top 4. Think we've got a pretty good chance of getting 3rd to be honest, Chelsea and spurs are treading water.

How? We have 41 points out of 27 games. They have 50 out of 28. If we beat tomorrow, the difference is 6 points, no?

It will be 6 points not 10

If we beat Everton tomorrow we would be 6 points behind leicester. Still a tough ask of 10 games, but not impossible with respective form

If we win tomorrow, we would have 19 points from the last 10 games, leicester have 10 from theirs. We also play them last game of the season

Vardy's loss of form has hit them hard. His ridiculously efficient finishing was a big reason why they were doing so well.

Imagine if Leicester - United on the final day is a straight shootout for 4th.

If we can beat Everton I would say 3rd is up for grabs. You never fancy us away at Goodison though – it’s a place where you need to show character, unless you are Liverpool, in which case it’s a roll over.

Vardy hasn't been fit for a while, makes all the difference.

Ndidi also has been missing for a few games and he's the rock in their midfield. It just shows how essential it is to have a good CDM to help the front lads do the work.

During their remarkable run xG said it was a freak, more freakish than any other over-performance of xG since understat had covered the PL. A few of us were talking about it in this thread earlier in the season, much to the irritation of the Leicester fans on here (that now seem to have largely disappeared).

I thought they were far enough ahead to seal top 4 but they’ve crashed pretty hard.

They've not really got a very good squad, only one real plan of attack and they look a bit tired. I don't rate Iheanacho, Perez, Barnes at all as a front line, it's second half of the table quality, and Maddison and Tielemans are good but have played every game this season. With Vardy tired they look a bit toothless. Poor squad depth taking it's toll over the season I think, I expect a slide down the table, same as Sheff Utd.

So does that mean they go back to having a worse first team and squad than us, when they drop out of top four and we overtake them in the table?

Their next 3 games are easy peasy. Rodgers will surely deliver 9 points.
Villa, Watford and Brighton are all fighting for survival. These teams can do unexpected things at this time of year. It’s why Norwich beat them last night.

I think Leicester will bomb it. They’ve only picked up 12 points in their last 12 games. It will take some effort to reverse that form with 10 games to go.

They drew against Norwich at home and should have lost that. Its not a freak result

It’s 9 points now, some weird maths where we win yet somehow lose a point there @MadMike

If Chelsea win the gap to Leicester is 3 points, if we win it’s 6. Leicester with their form will surely be desperate for Everton to twat us.

I think the increasing gap to Liverpool has hit their mentality, then they've probably been thinking top 4 is more or less wrapped up. Might be hard for them to turn that around

We play Leicester still too. It's totally doable but it’s hard to be optimistic given recent times. We’re hoping Fernandes can really inspire us to a strong finish to the season.

I think what has hit their mentality, is the fear of -not- getting top 4 after that first half of the season. Most of the players aren't used to it, and once they lost a couple and the thought "We surely can feck this up now, can we?" appeared, it seems to have created somewhat of a collective meltdown. It could get even worse, hopefully it does.

But how? Ole is shite and Brendan ‘already stamped his style on Leicester and has them playing brilliantly’

It must be true because I read it from the Ole experts on the caf!
