As a Leicester fan - very worried. Our "poor form" stretches back since we last drew against Norwich in December, before then getting consecutively hammered by Liverpool and Man City - it's just we'd built up a good lead by that point, and every other team has also been inconsistent.
Just so many problems. Our main problem is we have no wingers. Perez is invisible and does not fit our system at all, and Barnes puts in the occasional excellent performance but for the most part is still is very raw and inexperienced. Coupled with the fact that Vardy has been injured, and then hasn't looked right at all since coming back from injury, then all of our attacking threat has dried up. It's crazy that our best attacking threat has been our right-back. Nacho has actually looked fairly good recently (was unlucky to not get the goal vs Norwich) but when Vardy's fit he's unlikely to start.
Midfield wise, Tielemans has had a relatively poor season (and has been dropped a few times) but luckily Maddison and N'didi were playing out of their skin, which carried us somewhat. Now Maddison's form has dropped, N'didi has been out injured, and Brendan has insisted on playing Choudhury (who I personally do not rate at all) far too much. Yesterday, for example, we'd have been far better with Tielemans, Maddison and Praet (who did admirably as a 3 against Man City), but for some reason Choudhury came in for Tielemans, and then did nothing all game.
Defensively, we are still fairly solid, barring 1 exception. Kasper isn't in the best form, but still fairly reliable. Ricardo is outstanding - our best attacker AND best defender. Evans is an absolute rock. Soyuncu is fantastic, most of the time. And Chilwell is absolutely garbage. It's amazing the amount of posts I've seen on this forum saying that you'd look to buy Chilwell, because I'd drive him to Manchester myself. Defensively he's average at best, and tends to drop at least one clanger a game that costs us a goal. As an attacking threat, he offers nothing, and watching him and Barnes try and attack down the left makes me despair. The only things he has going for him really is he's young, English, and has good stamina.
So yes, very worried indeed. I honestly think Man United are more likely to finish above Leicester at this point, because you're looking much better currently, while I couldn't tell you where our next win would come from.
