You think he will be that good?We should move heaven and earth to sign him.
Can you blame him. Jose wants him shave those locks off the top of his head. Short back and sides only...Apparently refuses to go back to Spurs.
Was thinking the same unless Fernandes is used as a MF.Assuming the Fernandes deal goes ahead, I wonder if will that rule out us going for Grealish in the summer?
Some people have said that Fernandes can play as an 8, if we used Grealish as a 10. I’m not so sure.
What position?Forget the England squad. Should be in the starting XI
What do you think?Assume Villa turned it down?
Personal terms may not have been agreedWhat do you think?
In terms of gettable targets, that are of the requisite quality, hard working, a leader on the pitch, young and are PL proven... I don't think there are many, if any, better options out thereYou think he will be that good?
He seems to be best on the left of a front 3 but unlikely to displace Sterling or Rashford there. So I’d have him as most advanced of a midfield 3. Henderson and one other behind him. What position?

Have you not heard him talk?I thought he was a cockney, didn't know he's actually from Birmingham.
Loves Moosic.Have you not heard him talk?
Shouldn’t, we need to take a mantle out of city’s book. Who would have thought De Bruyne and David Silva would play in the same midfield.Assuming the Fernandes deal goes ahead, I wonder if will that rule out us going for Grealish in the summer?

I like the look of him, but haven't seen nearly enough. In terms of gettable targets, that are of the requisite quality, hard working, a leader on the pitch, young and are PL proven... I don't think there are many, if any, better options out there
Not until todayHave you not heard him talk?
During their last season in championship. Like 2 years back ?Wasn't that like 3 years ago?
Oi!Loves Moosic.
I would like to see this, but Southgate has said, due to him playing as a winger, he'll be competing with the wingers in the squad, i.e. Rashford, Sterling, Sancho, Odoi.He seems to be best on the left of a front 3 but unlikely to displace Sterling or Rashford there. So I’d have him as most advanced of a midfield 3. Henderson and one other behind him.
If we get CL I think we'd tempt him... Especially as we can offer him a huge part in our side. (which wouldn't be the same at Liverpool or City)... I think he relishes being the main man.Glad to see the turn around in opinion.
With all due respect though, if he does leave he'll have far bigger fish to fry than United which is sad to say. Would not have been true 10 years ago.
Yeah. Can't remember. Either way, think 25M was reasonable for a championship player at the time. Maddison cost around 20M.During their last season in championship. Like 2 years back ?
The thing I don't get with Southgate's POV there is we've seen before England with ridiculous amounts of pace in final third but if opposition like Croatia low block and sit deep then it all too easily gets nulified. Add in England not really having dynamic passers of the ball centrally so likes of Sterling can't get the ball quickly and be 1 v 1 against opposition full back.I would like to see this, but Southgate has said, due to him playing as a winger, he'll be competing with the wingers in the squad, i.e. Rashford, Sterling, Sancho, Odoi.
However, as you said, for England, who you'd expect to the dominate against most teams, playing him in that most advanced role in a three would be more ideal.
May not work, but it be silly of Southgate not to try it.
Disagree. For young English players like Grealish, who have grown up watching United dominate over the years, I feel he dreams of playing for us.Glad to see the turn around in opinion.

If there was 0.1% of him leaving in this window, it's at 0%. Boyhood villa fan isn't going to leave and miss out on leading his club out at major domestic final.Preparing a bid as we speak.
A villa fan facing relegation telling us their players have bigger fish to fry then United.Glad to see the turn around in opinion.

The key word there was will. As in, in the future. If he ends up leaving. Not sure what facing relegation has to do with anything tbh.A villa fan facing relegation telling us their players have bigger fish to fry then United.
Get away you melon.
Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but he's shit.
He did nothing today. Its like this thread was watching a different gameNot sure if anyone else has noticed, but he's shit.
He will be leaving. Don't kid yourself. Why would he stay at Villa? The key word there was will. As in, in the future. If he ends up leaving. Not sure what facing relegation has to do with anything tbh.
