Not entirely sure who to captain. I'm edging Aub at the moment.

Salah has been my captain for maybe 5 or 6 weeks in a row but there's something inside me which thinks he could be benched or only feature for 65-70mins due to atletico.

If Auba can smack 1 past WestHam theres a good chance of bonus as well. With Salah you almost feel like he needs 2 returns to get 3bps.

I'm not sure but I'm 65% Auba at the mo.

Obviously plenty can and will change i.e. injuries, motivation, rotation, form etc but these are the fixtures I have my eye on for the Triple Captain chip.

They shouldn’t have a double gameweek as they face teams that are still in the FA Cup on none FA Cup gameweeks. I’d be tempted not to give it to Salah as he could easily benched or taken off early. They have Atletico on Wednesday. I’m waiting until the earliest tomorrow evening to decide who to captain after the press conferences

He’s top of my list of players who start who I’m going to sell. Have other concerns before him currently. I’ll eventually swap him for Fernandes, especially now that he’s on pens and Martial being prone to the odd knock.

Pretty much. If he scores he often gets no bonus, or at most 1. Not sure what aspect stops him getting them, maybe losing the ball on dribbles so much, or shots of target.

Yeah. Salah, relative to his high scoring antics often gets less Bonus than I feel he deserves.

Kane only has to score 1 goal (sometimes even on the losing team) and the Bonus 3 is always there.

A few years ago they seemed to dish bonus points on the name of a player, but generally if you had the guy who scored the winner, he'd always get 3.

Now it's quite weighted against the tap in merchants, irrespective of them scoring the winner, and a bit too heavily weighted in favour of certain defenders I think.
Shots off target seem to have a huge negative effect.

Would need to replace Firmino and swap McCarthy to Button to fund it. Long term I think I’d rather Firmino as Liverpool’s next few fixtures are favourable and should be someone who plays in gw31 so don’t know if I’m being swayed just because of the DGW!

Personally I’m not taking a hit to get a City or Arse player in. People are getting swayed by the double game week, definitely. It’s really not that enticing. Same your hits for a more favourite double game week with more and better fixtures

I think I'm gonna save my free hit for 37. Looks to be the best dgw and I can pick players that actually have something to play for so less likely to rotate.

9/10 involved in 31. Should know by 32 what's happening in 34 so make a few transfers accordingly (likely Everton players).

Very tempted to bench boost this weekend as I've got Saiss, Soyunco and Cantwell on the bench with pretty decent fixtures.

Possible teams are Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Man Utd, Newcastle, Norwich, Sheff Utd and Southampton. 4 teams tops should get a double that gameweek (Everton the most likely). Gameweek 37 is the big one with 8-12 teams with the double. That’s the one primed for the FH Chip.
You lose any free transfers you have prior to your FH so you want use it when you have none.

Remember you can't play two chips in the same GW. If you plan to use the FH and BB in two of the likely DGWs (34 and 37) and would also like to use the TC in a DGW, then that will likely need to be an Arsenal or City player this week.

It’s a tough call between the two strategies. I just feel like I can get all the big hitters for GW31 without much trouble and the Free Hit could end up getting pissed away on players who get me 2 points.

If I had the TC chip then I’d probably do the reverse of what I suggested above - Free Hit GW31 and then TC a double game week player on GW34.

Not sure the quality of the fixtures on GW34 though so may not be any obvious candidates. You’d hope there was at least one though.

I agree - mine was wasted on Mane a few weeks back when he got injured, whereas last season I had my best ever TC on Salah v Huddersfield in a single GW towards the end of the season.

GW31 has only 8 teams playing and not a lot of big hitters. Pretty sure majority teams will line up with 3 wolves and 3 pool players which I already have. And I can supplement these 6 players with 1 from Burnley and 1 from Spurs using my FTs. Doubt anyone will touch players from Bou, WHU, CPFC and Watford.

GW34 will probably have more number of teams and a bigger spread of players to chose with.
