Next Generation Mumbai Cup: Chelsea, RFYS, Goa win morning games on Day 2

An English football classic kick-started the second day of the PL-ISL Next Generation Cup Mumbai 2020 with Chelsea FC squaring off against Manchester United FC at the Reliance Corporate Park Football Ground, Navi Mumbai here today. The Chelsea boys emerged 1-0 winners over their United counterparts, building on their win from the previous evening.

The game began at a frenetic pace as the Young Blues quickly established a foothold and started dominating possession. Reiss Alexander-Denny, in particular, was hugely influential as he kept things ticking in midfield and kept orchestrating Chelsea’s offensive moves.

United will play again in the evening.

United U14s beats Southampton 3-1 in their game yesterday with a quite dominant display. Ethan Williams scored the 1st, river was disrupted so cant see who scored the 2nd and 3rd. Myles saved a pen.

XI was Myles - Pickup, Jackson, Oliver, Ogunneye - McAllister, Curley, E. Williams - Nolan, Wheatley, Tom Jones

It's a physically big age group so its hard to tell who's actually good on ability or who just dominates because of size/maturity over their peers, it's probably going to take a couple of years before anyone can tell, however, I did hear that none of the older lads got the England call for any of the recent training camps.

Sounds like they were having fun with the opposition there. Which is not unusual I suppose.

Ruben Curley & Finlay McAllister look the standouts to me from the little I've seen of them. Habeeb Ogunneye looks a good defender but hard to know if he'll have the size for CB.

I have seen that Benfica trashed Liverpool in UEL and just wondered how is Ronaldo Camara doing? There were talks 2 years ago about United having an interest in him. So how he is now?

I haven't seen much of him in the past year but he's been playing regularly for Benfica's u23s team this season at 16/17 so looks like he's still developing well

Thanks!
Also what about U-16's Kavanagh, Mather, Norkett? Do you think we could see them in U-18 at the last game/games of the season?
And what is your opinion on Forson? Still 15 but obviously struggled at that level and there were rumours about Arsenal.
