Pogba returns to training next week. In terms of balance without sacrificing width like we did against Everton. Where exactly does Pogba fit in?

Fred, Bruno and Matic's roles are all crucial. I can't see Pogba settling for the bench. I guess the key thing is not to disrupt what we have..

He doesn’t. In a team like we saw today out there dying for eachother he’d stick out like a sore thumb. Get rid, get the money and invest it back into the team.

Right into central midfield as the first name on the team sheet, probably.

On the bench at first, his playing time must be earned. There isn't a midfielder at the moment that I can say is less deserving to play ahead of him

Be interesting to see if he's now finding the idea of staying at United more inviting now we're investing in better players.

He can only really replace one from Matic or Fred. Don't think anyone can argue that Fred has played consistently well since October and Matic the same. All hypothetical but games like today, a fully fit, motivated switched on Pogba driving the ball out on the counter would give us another option.

Controversial opinion but I dont think he does. Addition by subtraction. Like the guy but I dont feel like benching Fred or Bruno for him and you need a more defensive, a holding midfielder too.
There isnt room for Pogba IMO and its best for both parties to go their own way.

It's a great problem to have.. He is a great player Ole will find a space for him.

We play with a 4-2-3-1 most of the time, and in that system I'd put him on the left with Martial top and Bruno as the 10. In big games where we use 3-4-1-2... Not sure tbh. He's a top player but it all depends on his attitude once he gets back. Matic has to play, Fred has been brilliant and Bruno Fernandes is more influential than Pogba anyway. Not a problem until he proves he can put in the effort to force his way in though!

Honestly, that's gonna be Ole's biggest test by far.

He either decides we don't need him, or he finds a spot in the first team for him.

No way he benches him....that will feck up the chemistry we have.

Maguire is captain, Bruno is looking like a fair leader....we should build on that.

Don't believe that Paul has it in him to be a follower....but, who knows. Martial and Bruno hit it off straight....ad in Rashford and Pogba....blimey!

Tucked between Jovic and Vazquez on the Bernabeu bench.

Starting him might feck the good chemistry we have, not benching him. Players will see him as just another one with zero preferential treatment. Playing time has to be earned

Pogba and Fernandes can both play in midfield. They’ll make a massive difference in the exact games we’ve struggled for goals in this season.

Did alright at Juventus when surrounded by multiple leader types.

Did fairly well over here too, when Zlatan was around.

Perhaps that's been the issue, he actually needs the leader types around him. I think Bruno is the perfect foil for him.

Fits right in at the bench. He can try to win his place back, but don't think he's up for the fight.

10 games unbeaten and getting clean sheets with our new attacking midfielder settling in very well, scoring and creating.

You would need to be a colossal idiot to want Pogba's peacocking thrown back into the team now.

We need balance, and he will disrupt that. He can’t play in the midfield two, as he gets exposed when he dawdles on the ball. I’d want to see players with commitment playing.

I agree. Don't mess with the balance we've got in the middle. He can be important in breaking down the weaker sides in the remaining fixtures.

Pogba plays against 90% of the league, with Matic on the bench. Matic plays > Pogba in the big game like Fletcher.
