In those last 10 mins of panick he suddenly brought assuredness and clam. Brilliant display of hold up game in those few moments.

Martial ran so much that he left no legs by 70 mins. Ighalo should have been sent earlier.
I think he was always to going to come on, but Ole didn’t want to use the 3rd sub too early in case of injury.

This was a wonderful piece of business. He is so motivated to play for us and eager to stay that he will not become complacent for even a moment.
I really hope he can keep this up and earn himself a permanent transfer.

Holds up the ball well and is a good threat at corners and set pieces. Will suit us in some of the upcoming games.

Seems like a great person and a perfect fit for United.

I hope he keeps up this attitude. I was very impressed with his cameo yesterday, held it up well and a lovely back heel in the build up to McTominay’s goal.

He also had a great wee bit of play at the half way line on awb side. Held it up dribbled past a guy and just dropped it of to our midfield to hold possession.

Absolutely loved this. Was like a peak Drogba when he came on.
It was brilliant. Annoying thing is, this isn't even that hard to do. People do this at Sunday League, but we've genuinely not had a good hold up striker for years so now we appreciate it like its world class.

Love Ighalo though, his interview before the game was brilliant, his professionalism and commitment as a substitute is excellent and I really hope he's made permanent.

Woody! Sign him up! Woody Woody sign him up!

If he accepts 100k a week (what we pay Lingard & Jones) then no reason not to make it permanent. Obviously we shouldn’t be matching his China wage

I liked Tyler's comment yesterday.

' They've taken off one Bruno and now they're bringing on a player with a Frank Bruno physique '

I'm not going to build up my hopes immediately because there's been too many false dawns the past five or six years, but that's now two Transfer Windows in a row when we seem to have got it right, even if Ighalo wasn't originally in the plan.

Thought he was great when he came on. Was so weird seeing us actually having an outlet under pressure instead of just booting the ball up the pitch and it coming back.

Im really enjoying him being here.

Starting to love the guy already and think he may be a perfect option for the next year or two as Greenwood progresses. His love for the club is invaluable. Anyone have a gif of him beating 2-3 players nonchantaly? Think it happened not long after he came on.

Edit: also another plus is that he surely isn't 'match' fit yet either.

I think he'd easily take a substantial pay cut to be here.

He's probably earned a shit load already, would get to be home with his fam and would get to play for us.

If we don't go big on a CF in the summer (Dembele? Eduard? Werner?) and he continues in this fashion then keeping him around for another season is a no brainer I think.

Feel like I have to apologize for him for not wanting him here after every match. He blew out my expectations, completely.
