I don't really miss it to be honest. I was on the cusp of burning out with modern day football. I still watched a lot of games out of habit, but sooner or later i would have stopped, except for United i guess.

I am reading a lot of books and watching movies that i wanted to see for quite a while. And if i get the occasional buzz, i watch classic games. A lot of material there.

I don't miss it myself. Which documentaries did you watch? And if you don't mind me asking, which intellectual interests have you pursued?
Nevermind, my intellectual interests only lasted 1 week.

Now I'm climbing the walls, needing my football fix

Extremely bored and frustrated. None of us have had sports cancelled like this in our lifetimes, still adjusting :(

I’m adjusting to it and it’s sort of becoming a way of life. Miss the football and sport in general but it does open up other avenues of interest.

Never laid a patio in my life but I’ve just ripped up the decking and am weighing up the challenge of whether or not I attempt it. Never been that interested in historical figures before but the last two or three nights I’ve delved into it, currently reading up on Oliver Cromwell. Absolutely no idea why but when you get into it it’s surprisingly interesting.

My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday next week and I asked for an acrylic painting set. Never shown any interest in it before but actually really looking forward to giving it a go.

Weird times indeed because with live sport on TV there isn’t a chance in hell I’d have got in to any of the above.
