I'd bet both Martial and Rashford would get 25 goals in a full season with sancho and bruno in the team. Get sancho and one DM and i expect us to close a big part of the gap between us and the top 2.

Lingard putting a word in with Sancho.

Jesse asked him "Odds on you coming to United?".

He replied "7".

Neither of them said that.

They were just on Instagram live together.

Maybe. I think it’s worth giving him another season, I certainly don’t think a striker is a priority. Give Martial a chance to claim the spot properly while Greenwood gets experience.

My thoughts too. Give him a chance when there are players around him that create. I still think Tony is worth it.

Isn't Rashford on 19 for the season? And Martial on 16? Not inconceivable that their outputs would increase with a full season with Bruno and Sancho (and Pogba).

Rashford probably would've hit 25 this season were it not for his injury. Martial would probably get close as well.
Not to mention Sancho himself has gone double figures in goals and assists two seasons running. Transfermarkt has him on 31 goals and 42 assists in 90 games for Dortmund!

You’d easily clear 4 players (Martial, Rashford, Bruno, Sancho) making 20+ goal contributions in all competitions. And then add a potential Pogba... More than enough.

I wouldn't mind getting Igalho on a short term deal if he can maintain his good start for us. He's already shown he has something to offer. Not starting every game obviously but he's clearly got something about him with some of the goals hes already managed. We need options. Can't rely on Rashford n Martial. Greenwood n Ighalo are definitely good options for us for sure.

I don’t think Martial is elite level, or consistent enough to hang your hat on really. Rashford and Sancho on the wings is tasty as hell, but we need a proper finisher up front I reckon. Is it worth signing anybody when we have Greenwood waiting in the wings though?
Think of what Firmino brings to Liverpool attack, also not being elite. Martial's link up play with Rashford is already great, with Sancho and Bruno it can be a very promising stuff.

Exactly. Rashford and Martial, and Greenwood or Ighalo if we need something different, is a great strike force.

Perhaps, I can’t say I’ve seen anything near Firmino’s level of link up play from Martial though. In fact there are times when he looks disinterested and actually breaks down our attacks. His strength in my opinion is that he’ll have games like that, then pop up from nowhere with a piece of brilliance. The city game the other day being a case in point.

Where did they get this from? Because if true this is good news, it’s time to get our hopes up only for them to be dashed later on in the summer.
Under the tweet it's a live video call between Fabrizio Romano & the guy who runs 433. I personally believe we want him and that he will come if we agree a price with BVB.

It would be great to get such a proper finisher, but if Sancho comes in, I think we should roll with what we have and invest the rest of the transfer money, if any, on other areas of need. With Bruno, Sancho and Rashford working together, I think we get things done with Martial and Greenwood.

We'd still need a 25 goal a season striker to be in with a shout of winning major honors I'd say, but we'd certainly be closer to being peak United again.
Polarising as he is, if Martial had had an injury free season, he would've likely hit 25 this year. For that matter, Rashford would've hit it too if he hadn't got injured when he did.

I hate how much I believe this deal will happen now  a few months ago I didn't think we had a chance because we were just terrible, but now? I will weep if it doesn't happen. Chooo chooooo all aboard the Sancho express.

Finally, a reliable source saying we have had some concrete talks. This is huge, shows that he is actually interested in coming here if we've been in discussion for 2 months. Also shows United actually trying to get business done early

I see it happening outside Ighalo(who will be cheap) there isn`t any other transfer we will prioritize with Pogba likely staying at least another season we won`t sign midfielders and we`re defo not buying defenders, plus we can still afford him even if we take a financial hit

We're basically in the transfer window at this point - no football to play, no international commitments, just negotiate the deal on Skype and get it done Woody.

It’s testament to how good our recruitment has become that most of us agree that we only really need 2 or 3 signings this summer. Sancho being the headliner and it also looks like Bellingham has the chance to come here too whatever happens. There’s sure to be some more interesting youth prospects brought in too. we are making mostly positive moves behind the scenes. It’s Very pleasing to finally see some progress being made in the market. I don’t mind if the club spend really big money on sancho. He’s absolutely the player we need for the RW. He’ll be worth it over his career here and for England.

Sancho and Bellingham would be an epic transfer window. Bang on where we need strengthening and totally on point for United’s philosophy of young and British.

Ighalo extending is a given as well.
