Idea of this thread is you can pick 3 United players (not staff) passed or present you can invite around for an evening of food and drinks and why.

Not necessarily your favorite players of all time but the ones you think would be the best company & aswell consider the dynamic of the table ( For instance what would Roy Keane and Pogba talk about?)

Ill kick it off

  1. Patrice Evra - Probably my favorite personality to ever play for the club, you just know Paddy would keep the table laughing, Also he seems like an easy person to talk to and with a few glasses of wine on him would come out with some crazy stuff
  2. Gary Neville - Red Nev I could listen to all day, hes insight into the game aswell as being part of 3 great generations of United teams, (94/95 -98/99-07/08), even though he comes across quite serious on TV you can tell he has a great sense of humor.
  3. Rio Ferdinand - Rio tells some really good stories of his United days in interviews and gets along well with alot of his ex team mates, also reckon he would mesh well with the other two after a few drinks
Honourable mentions goes to David May, Nicky Butt, Dimitar Berbatov & Ander Herrera

1. Rio Ferdinand. Good story teller, good sense of humour and he's been around a long time with Sir Alex so he'll have tons of stories.
2. Wayne Rooney. Similar reasons.
3. Gary Neville. Want to hear what he really thinks about this squad and Ole (wishful thinking i know)

Cantona - majestic, charming and probably a fecking brilliant cook.
Robson - I bet he could tell a few stories and give a great insight into a 1980s footballer’s life.
Rio - despite how childish he seemed when he first joined United, he’s really matured and tells a good story and seems pretty smart and level headed these days.

1. Smalling - He's vegan. Therefore, I'd eagerly anticipate what he has in store for my palate. I'd be interested in recipes, the details of how vegan helped his tendinitis. The places he would recommend in England for top quality vegan food. I'd like to pick his brain on the effect meat eaters have on animals.

2. Ronaldo - Now you mentioned we should take into consideration the dynamic of the table. Smalling does yoga, and one of the activities Ronaldo does in his spare time is pilates. Pilates is something I can envisage doing in the foreseeable future, thus, the insight he'd have would be valuable. I'd like to know the things Ronaldo has invested in to contribute to his health. Some of which, are already known to the public i.e 3am ice baths in a cryotherapy chamber. Depending on what he mentions, I'd consider incorporating a cheaper alternative in my own routine.

3. Rashford - He's a philanthropist. I'm part of a charity organisation for my indigenous country, I'd like to discuss what he has done for Manchester, and perhaps that could give me ideas on how to improve my own impact. He comes across well in the media, I'd like to have a conversation with him about compassion, love, and responsibility.

Ben Foster. Former chef. He'd do the cooking for me.
Michael Owen. Probably do the dishes for me.
Dion Dublin. A man who respects ones home.

Three different players, three different attitudes in life.

Would be super super interesting to hear them all speak.

I could see Eric short circuiting Ronaldo's mind with a few questions of what it means to live.

Keane

All 3 have been captains. Would love to hear them chat about how they did it and what kind of relationships they had with certain players and staff. Who did they dislike, who is underrated and overrated would be awesome to listen to.

Also very hard to leave out Robbo...

Robson - That generation of football before it became super serious
Evra - Legend and funny with it
Neville - Probably has cracking stories, funny and a proper fan.

Dont think anyone would over shadow the room.

If anyone like old football stories download the episodes of "Magic Sponge", 4-5 years old now, but Jimmy Bullard, Rob Beckett and one or two footballers telling some of their stories.

This would be the episode that killed Come Dine with Me.

Agreed  I didn’t dare speak, but you have a chance to party with Best, discuss life and dine on fine French cuisin with King Eric, and a number of other epic characters to choose from and that is it?
