As I was looking up details for the Last of Us Film... I found out that Uncharted now has an official release date: June 10th, 2016.

Sony are taking this film seriously considering it moved Spider Man 3's release date (which was the 10th). Cast is still unconfirmed!

I think they might consider you as Nathan Drake, RS. You definitely have the muscly build for it!

I can't do American accents very well m'afraid.
1) You can work on that
2) Technically, if Nathan is meant to be a descendant from Francis Drake, it's not silly to believe he could actually be English, and Naughty Dog can feck right off.

You're nailed on for the part I tell you!

Bradley Cooper as Nathan. Any blonde actress for Elena.

Nathan Fillion has got to be Drake otherwise it will be the biggest missed opportunity ever in terms of casting. He is perfect for that role.

I mean, really, Drake without his voice?

Maybe some of you never were around at the time of the original's release, but this was what made a PS3 worth owning in 2007.

You can't change his fecking voice!

I was. I was mesmerised by the fact after he got out of water, his clothes were wet, and when he walked he left behind wet prints! Quality series that has always impressed. Hopefully the movie is ok, I will try and not big it up, and go in open mined.

I'm pretty sure in the past they've had the movie folded, surprised it has came back.

You're...going to love me
Bradley Cooper would probably be the best choice. Decent actor and a big enough draw plus he's enough of a beef cake to make the action sequences believable. Nathan Fillion, as much as I love him, is a bit too doughy these days. Also there is no reason they can't get the actress who voiced Elena to play her, just like getting Claudia Black to be Chloe.

But he is Drake!

That's like saying Mark Hamill wasn't going to put bums on seats as Luke Skywalker.
Of course he's Drake but if they're doing a big budget movie, I doubt movie execs are going to pander to the games fans.

They'll want a big name, which is reasonable. Bradley Cooper isn't a bad shout. He's probably a bit too high profile to get involved with a video game movie though.

It's not like saying that at all. Star Wars was a relatively small budget film when it was made and not having a star-ladden cast wasn't that much of a problem. For the two sequels, that wasn't a problem anymore as the audience identified Hamill as Luke.

This is going to be a huge blockbuster, and for it to get made, a studio is going to ask that Nathan is portrayed by an 'a-list star', there's no doubt about it. It's just how films get made.

Cooper is a good shout. He has enough pull with audiences and probably would be good in the part.

Interesting cast, open to it. Thought David Boreanaz would be a good Drake.

Watching Community and Gillian Jacobs could be a good Elena but she's too old to be a love interest for Spiderman.

Tom Holland is going to be playing Nathan Drake & Mark Wahlberg is playing Sully. Antonio Banderas is in it too but not confirmed who he is going to play.

According to IMDB - The story is a prequel to the games, starring Holland as a younger Drake, showing us details of how he came to meet and befriend Sully.
What the hell, Marky Mark? You have to nail that Sully casting to make this work. Even as a younger Sully he doesn’t fit.
