Maguire has made so many mistakes in his first season here. I’m hoping he becomes more secure in his second season because some of these were costly and is part of the reason we aren’t higher than Chelsea. I’m not even sure Lindelof has made the same amount of mistakes this season. The positives though are Maguire is very secure and dominant in the air on a good day.

i do believe he will come out stronger now that we have more balance in attack and the pressure will reduce. Still this montage is a lot.

It’s one thing picking out all his mistakes but as an all round player he’s been world class at times for us.

Cool in possession and all the physical traits needed. Their aren’t many CB’s better in the world and that’s a fact atm. I personally can’t think of too many.

Worth every penny in my book.

Leicester have only conceded 28 goals this season.

Speaking of clear cut chances, the xGA in 16/17 is 31.62 in 38 games, while the figure is 30.56 in 29 games this season. To put it simple, it means we are better in preventing clear cut chances back then.
Go check the PL website says Leicester have conceded 30 goals and I`d like to see the xG for 17/18 since that was the season De Gea was REALLY tested to compare to now.

Leicester have scored 58 and conceded 28 this season. 30 is the goal difference. Please figure out the facts before you try to debate with someone.

In 17/18 when de Gea was REALLY tested as you said, the xGa was 43.54 in 38 games. We were expected to concede 1.15 goals per game, which was not significantly different from the figure 1.05 this season.

Every player makes mistakes. Seriously you expect players to make 100% of their passes?

I guess the poster will be saying Vidic is a crap CB because he got done by Torres.

As a CB, its about how often these mistakes are made, and ofcourse there will be times when the attacker goes past you, its football.

He hasn't been world class at any point this season. What standout display does he have? He has ranged between poor and good. Never being top class or world class.
