I quite liked watching Stoke under Pulis and Blackburn under Hughes. Obviously wanted United to beat them when we played them and I enjoyed the battles.

The rest of the time I saw them I'd generally want them to win. A part of that is that a lot of the time they were on tv would be because they were playing against one of the top teams so they'd be doing us a favour if they did. Found it funny when they took a big scalp and oppo managers, players and fans would cry about their tactics.

I used to love Wenger's anti-Stoke rants

Real Madrid’s anthem when they score a goal is actually really cool

I'm really jealous of the Liverpool pictures that show all their managers who've won the European Cup. Not a 'guilty pleasure' per se, but I hate that we would have more than them but for Munich (and to a lesser extent, the foreign player rules in the 90s). Bold claim, but we *may* have reached 10 before Madrid without Munich and those 90s rules

Losing to Comeback Winning!
:nervous: Don't shoot.. or do (I can take it)

1. In the early 2000s (2001 to 2006) and around year 2009 until 2015, majority of the times, I prefer to watch Arsenal play rather than United.. on tele and replays.

2. Seeing Aguero, Yaya, David Silva and Kompany rampaging the league with good football in the early days at City... I feel jealous and quietly rooting for them especially David Silva. Just the players, hate seeing the shirt but oh well..

I started following United around 2001-02 season. I seriously hated Arsenal and was always keeping an eye on their results wanting them to lose.

The guilty pleasure is that even though Arsenal stopped being our immediate rivals towards the end of that decade, to this date I celebrate an Arsenal loss even if might mean nothing to us. Probably more than any other club.

To be fair, Arsenal - when their game clicked- played some beautiful football. Loved Wenger for what he was trying to achieve and if he had the resources to buy the players needed, that side could have become really special

As a Brighton fan watching United and commenting on Red Cafe are my guilty football pleasures. In the many many years when we were in the lower leagues, always used to watch your games in the Prem. Now feel a bit more guilty about it as we're in the same division, but always happy if you beat Palace!

John Terrys face this time 12 years ago.
The absolute agony on his face that he missed a penalty to win his club a European cup. Sweet sweet tears.

Wanting Mourinhos side to win even with him not being our manager although not against us. I just liked that shitty football and people disliking it.
The Gerrard slip game was extra great for that reason.
I also really like seeing his side get beaten and listen to the press conferance after it too. It is just a win win situation unless it ends with a dull 0-0 draw or something.

I always actively route against David Moyes and follow his teams, willing them to lose.

It’s petty, but I can’t help it. I still blame him more than any singular other reason why we are where we are. Clearing out all that knowledge and experience and being arrogant enough to believe that him and his cronies could manage a club of this size was unforgivable.

He has never apologized and never really taken responsibility. He continues to believe that what he does “is win” and is so full of himself for someone who has achieved so little in football.

I read he is worth over 20 million and that just made me root against him all the more.

Hating Moyes is my guilty pleasure

I actually liked watching Steven Gerrard playing football......

Maybe that’s ban worthy, I don’t know.

I keep replaying Watford vs Leicester match from 2013 during this Stay at home period. The one where Deeney scored the winning goal after Almunia saved penalty kick from Knockaert. I don't even know that much about Watford. But I like that particular match a lot, better than most CL finals I would say.

I don't follow any United players on IG except Rashy and United, but I follow a whole host of other players e.g. Messi, Sterling, FC Barcelona, Ajax...

Just something incredibly annoying when we were playing like shite and player would send their PR people a pic of them trying hard and a stupid quote below. Pissed me right off

I enjoy seeing our rivals lose.

I love seeing players going around the keeper.

I enjoy meltdowns and controversy when its not affecting us and not benefitting our rivals.

I love streakers.

Invariably the commentators will apologise to the viewers and claim that "this is what we don't want to see".
Yeah right... I want tits and nips.
I want to see a steward clothesline a fan.

I don't know if it's a guilty pleasure or what it is but I much prefer to watch Serie A. Apart from United games I haven't watched a prem game in years

Penalty shootouts. They seem to have a bad rep of being an unfair way of finishing a game and pundits always bemoan them whenever they happen.

Nah, sod that, they're the best. When the international tournaments are happening, I always hope for as many shootouts as possible. I wish league football would adopt the NHL model and have a shootout if the game ends in a draw. No more draws. Only wins and losses, and loads of shootouts.

Though I'm reluctant to defend Moyes, what choice does he have? If he goes about being honest and saying "Fair play - I'm totally rubbish', no-one will employ him.
Honesty isn't welcome in football - when Keegan had the integrity to admit his failure, he was seen as weak rather than humble.

While that’s true, a bit of humility mixed in can do wonders. Admitting that he got a few things wrong, while maintaining that it has made him a better manager, would have done wonders. It’s not like he will ever be back in a big job again. Rodgers has talked about learning from his time at Liverpool and that was enough. He didn’t blame everyone else for his failings.

As it is, his insistence on being a CL manager and downplaying any weaknesses has made him a figure of fun. A perfect compliment to the figures of fun who hired him at West Ham.

He came in and decimated a system and staff that had taken years to put together. He robbed the club of any confidence and winners it had at a time when they were most needed.

I could have forgiven him for being foolish and making mistakes, but it was his attitude afterwards which made me really dislike him.

It’s a guilty pleasure, I can’t help it. I want to see him, Gold, Sullivan and West Ham go down.

I was a massive fan of not one but two Arsenal players - Henry and RVP. I was beside myself when RVP signed for us.

Yeah, fair enough. With regard to the arrogant things he sometimes says, maybe it's desperation (unlike a genuine narcissist such as Trump) - Moyes praises himself because, if he doesn't, nobody else will.

I prefer highlights to watching 90 mins of football.
