There are way too many tactical argument starters on this site. They do it in such a way that it avoids sanction, but instigates frustration amongst the more common sense population on here...
It's disingenuous as f*ck and happens in most threads where establishment figures and forces are rightly and regularly criticised; 'echo chamber' is not a valid criticism and never was, any more than 'snowflake'.

Silva's post calling everyone racist if they are worried about property damage is as bad in fairness Steve

Unbelievable. And 100% on Trump and his war against CNN.
Pathetic response from a police force that couldn't defend it's building, wouldn't defend fire fighters, now showing their "strength" against reporters who in contrast to themselves are actually doing their work.

it's really simple, black and white, life and death shit. there is no way that police in america will stop killing black people without serious damage in response. we know this from the hundreds of videos of police murdering black men specifically and nothing happening when they protest peacefuly.

if you are against even a little bit of the work it takes to stop these racially motivated murders, you're a fecking racist.

Silva is, er, often a maverick poster, shall we say.

How coincidental that they arrest employees of Trump's bete-noir network.

Can you imagine the response in the land of the free if this footage was filmed in Russia?
There probably wouldn't be one in fairness. Firstly, it's fairly standard practice there, and secondly they've got the black on Trump so...

Arresting the press in the middle of a race riot caused by an imbecile cop. The Minneapolis law enforcement covering themselves up in more glory.

Or the public audience could realise that there's a possibility of people who aren't involved in the protest using it as a chance to mess about.

How do you propose a protest group stop people from joining and using it as an easy way to loot, or similar.
Why would average joe care, if it doesn't affect him? Because you sort of need to care in order to take time to think about the situation beyond what media is showing. Aka to be able to "realise that there's a possibility ..." you need to care enough to think about it.

And what they could do? Focus the protests on a single area. Ideally down a single road. Thus everything that happens, happens in a tighter area so it is easier to control for people trying to abuse the situation as well as making the protests look a lot better on the mass of people and riots that happen outside of the area of protests are disassociated. That's even more important to be united when the police force in Minneapolis is showing themselves to be corrupt.

Same as in hk, the police rough up a few protesters and the western countries condemning the hk police for brutality. While it happen in land of free, oh it’s nothing.

That would also be easier to police and thus not have the desired effect, to be noticed and highlight the situation.

Is that a black reporter they arrest live on telly???

Seriously at times like this?
I can't help but feel they want to escalate the situation.

Let's face it, this isn't a police force in the western sense of the word. They just fecked off with their tale between their legs and effectively left a good part of Minneapolis without police at all for the night. They decided against helping firefighters fight fire and now that it's over are trying to rekindle the fire (metaphorically).

Nice distraction for Donnie and his botched Corona work - a group of armed black people? Fox news must think it's Christmas. Hide your children good white people of real America!!

No, it fans the flames. What point is there in protesting peacefully if the police are even going to treat reporters like that.

If the mass of rioters were white, would Trump be tweeting about how some were not looters but merely 'good folks who can't wait for the stores to open again'?

Absolutely. This is America 101. Minority protest = riot. White protest = excercising constitutional rights.

Did the officer and George Floyd have previous History? A mutual hatred from previous encounters etc?

To murder someone in broad day light in front of witnesses Over a bounced cheque is psychopathic

That murderer (he doesn’t deserve to be called anything else) should be spending the rest of his life in prison.

I’m even more appalled at the other officers just standing there letting it happen. Disgusting.

Sorry i mean thats what they think probably.

Anything to get the press to stop talking about their murderous cop.
Ah, ye, I wouldn't put it beyond them. Still think it could be a calculated escalation of the situation too. I think they want something to happen that lets them use lethal force on a large scale.

They were driven out of their "base", and they are among the lowest of people around. I suspect they want revenge.

Been reported that George Floyd and officer Derek Chauvin worked security at a nightclub. They overlapped one another though.

He literally did this when they stormed government buildings last month

I mean in one of their precincts was burned down, it doesn't take a wild imagination to think there are plenty of officers who have some urge for revenge or see their honor damaged or whatever.

I can see it now...

In court
OFFICER: "Mr Floyd exhibited untamed sass in his response to my polite request for him to 'Get f**ked, n****r'."
JUDGE: "So lethal force was justified. I see no reason to detain you any longer, Officer - thank you for your time, and service."

They weren’t just standing there, footage from another angle shows at some points other officers were subduing him at the same time as the chief white supremacist had his knee on his neck. And why does there need to be history between them? His skin colour was enough to tell the cop he was not human and that therefore he would not be treated as one. That’s how white supremacy operates.

Anyway, I don’t like this pearl-clutching at the riots and the looting. As MLK said, rioting is the language of the unheard. If you look at all the bullshit that goes on, it’s remarkable there are not more violent episodes like this. How many peaceful, organised protests have there been and what have they achieved? No wonder many see violence as the only way to be heard - and it is important to emphasise this is violence against property, incomparable to human life, unlike what the black community suffers ever day.

God forbid I am expecting some sort of responsibility from people no matter where they come from. Yet, every time these protests happened, massive riots and such happened. Meanwhile somehow some NRA people (and I purposefully pick them, because it's gonna rile up people a lot) doing a protest march managed to not have places burnt and looted. It's almost like there is some responsibility on the side of protestors. You know instead of being a blind mob you can also organise your protests to reduce the chaos. But I guess since it's black people protesting we have to apply lower standards to them ... which in my eyes is kinda racist of you to do.
When was the NRA member murdered in cold blood? Must have missed that. Link to that?

To compare the two protests is utterly asinine. Nah, no contextual differences between those two at all.

He's a troll, that's the only charitable explanation. If he's not a troll, he's blowing his whistle as hard as he can.

Yep. That poster has, in the last few weeks alone, written some of the absolute worst posts I've ever read on here.
I kind of expected more of his ilk on here with everyone having more free time recently, but he has made up for their lack of numbers with some sheer whoppers.
