He's such an Eden Hazard Regen when playing on the left.

The kid will be top class if he can keep scoring and assisting at this sort of level.

Want him so badly at United, can't help but feel so disappointed if he decides to join a rival!

Spurs just built a massive stadium in London and Arsenal are nobodies.

Liverpool are European Champions, where's the dosh gone if they can't afford £50 mil? They've made about £20 mil profit in transfers this season as well.
Liverpool have never been big spenders and the times they have it's been reinvesting the money from players sales

Torres - Carrol & Suarez
Suarez - a whole ton of shit
Coutinho - Van Dijk and Alisson

My money is on Sancho staying at Dortmund next season and leaving in 2021. Just do not see anyone blowing £100m+ plus £250k+ a week wages on someone this Summer. Yes, I know there is approx £100m in reserves, but what happens if there is no CL again? What about the lack of matchday income? What about the fees that still need to be paid? What about having to pay Sanchez a full wage again next season?

I mean, people in the press where talking about how Werner's buyout was now too high at £50m and it is only because Chelsea got Hazard and Morata money (approx £140-150m) and a Billionaire that likes to use his own money, that they have been able to pull him off.

I can't believe there are idiots now in this thread saying to criticise Sancho is a form of racism .

I understand there are a lot of United fans who are so blinded by what they think is loyality to Utd but is really immaturity that they will come up with any excuse at anything they see hurting United which apparently now includes criticising a guys behaviour who doesnt even play for United but who they are so desperate to have him do so .

This may be a shock to them but you can have doubts about someone's attitude or just think they are a bit of a prick whether that person is black or white.

The best comparison i have seen on here as regards my doubts on Sancho is Jack Grealish another very talented footballer who has shown at times a lack of judgement and immaturity.

I would love both of those players at United but only if they have the right attitude and right now I'm not convinced they have but hopefully that will change .

Also these posts that off course he will come to us as Liverpool can't afford him and we are United etc are nonsense

Off course Liverpool can afford him and if it comes down to a choice of us or Liverpool at present time especially given the fact he is not a fan of either club Liverpool would be the logical option

I watched the whole game this morning and I must say I enjoyed it.
I must say though the game was so open I reckon Rashford or Martial would have done some damage against Berlin.
Sancho was tidy but the guy who impresses me is the Dortmund RB and he is going to end up at a big club.

Think he's on loan from Real Madrid.

Are you just constantly on the wind up ?

Have you bookmarked all the replies on the off chance he pulls a Ravel so you can gloat again ?
Not at all.

It's not hard to think and look deeper than what the general public agrees on. We need to take our biases aside and call a spade a spade when needed.

United have cash reserves of £120m that's reserved for transfers coming into the summer, however transfers are paid off over multiple seasons in instalments. We won't be spending £150m+ but I expect us to spend £100m and maybe sell a few to raise capital.
what source has said we have 120m pounds thats reserved for transfers? i know about united having 90m in cash reserves and withdrawing 140m, but nowhere have i heard that 120m pounds is reserved for transfers.

His usage of the ball; the timing of his passes; the quality of said passes; the way he moves into open space after playing the initial pass, all things that suggest he is going to be sublime in an elite team.

His reading of play and manipulation of it really is special. Nevermind the dribbling, assists or goals; his fundamental understanding of the game and the way he plays across so many positions on the pitch will make him an exceptional cog in any functioning team.

Put him in a side with the equivalent guile and technical ability and he will be unplayable. I'm glad he and Messi play the same position and that his value should put them off, because he looks like the perfect cohort to sync up with Messi and Barca and be an absolute menace.

I think our side, with the attack we're assembling, can provide the superfluous football that someone like him will absolutely thrive in.

He's an exceptional talent.
Have you ever noticed that 80% of the anti-Sancho posters are always posting during the Dortmund match and have next to nothing to say other than the following:

A. Too expensive! We don’t have the money, and he’s not worth it anyway!
B. Bundesliga is a shite league! No way he’s good enough for the PL!
C. He’s unprofessional! A primadonna! He’s immature.

This feller here, like myself, probably watches every match.

Yes, he’s that good. 20 goals and 20 assists in all comps this season. The last move in the 87th or 88th minute was sublime. Just missed another goal, and it was created out of absolutely nothing.

I have never been so certain of us not signing a player. Especially not this summer anyway.
CL qualification is far from certain and with the fee involved, our lack of efficiency regarding big transfers plus other teams also being interested.

Just don't see it happening and feel a lot of people on here are going to be disappointed.

I wouldn`t completely rule it out just yet personally we`ve been after him for 2 years we won`t immediately walk without seriously trying IMO but with the news coming out yesterday regarding Grealish and adding a few pieces together I`m also losing some confidence for the first time.

Ok. Jadon Sancho is an exceptional footballer, one of the standout players of his generation, arguably the best player of his age or younger in the world (Mbappe is more than a year older).

Yeah it is starting to look like that RW spot is going to still be unfilled for yet another season. Have seen a couple of posts which suggests it's either Sancho alone or VDB & Grealish but maybe it's Sancho and one of them two instead.

Why? Have literally seen nothing to suggest this. Just because Chelsea all but signed Werner (release clause), are people getting impatient for Sancho stuff? The guy wants to come back to the premier league, we've been linked as the main spot for ages and him being our main target for ages. Haven't read any reason to knock that confidence.

Indeed. I think our CL status next season will have some influence on Sacho’s decision so it will still be a while before any solid predictions can be made.
I think we will qualify for CL and he will come.

And I hope Pogba can find some form and also commit to next 3 years. Ditto Igalo.

If we can pull off these three contracts we are sorted for next season.

These long drawn out transfer sagas never seem to work out tbf.
I remember Griezmann being treated as a certainity and the media banging on and on about it.

United has a way of dragging a transfer to the point you're not excited anymore about it. That's why I'm prepared to miss out on Sancho this transfer window

I’ve not been this convinced of a transfer since Greizmann. Let’s hope it ends differently!

These transfer sagas only seem to drag because the papers throw so many names and occasionally get one right. They then 'told you so 2 months ago'.
I am still not even convinced we are in for him.

Not being in the CL United's budget usually seems to be around 70M pounds. So if for example COVID-19 resulted in United losing 55M overall, then it makes sense. What do you think our budget is in terms of net spend?
Mathematically you're absolutely right. However you forgot our cash reserves:

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...al-summer-kitty-cash-in-the-bank-Soccerex/amp

And I have no idea regarding out net budget. Yout gotta ask Ed. But of course not £15m, even Arsenal would spend more than that. Imagine a club of our size to spend £15m in a summer windows, where clearly we're in the process of rebuilding our squad? Even without the cash reserves the club would raise capital in neccesary cases. Enterprise finance is very complicated, it's nothing like your month to month expense mate.

We spend 85milions for center back just one year ago. I cant see why not we will not pay 100milions for most talented english player right now.

Still think its pretty obvious we'll get him personally. It's just not happening till at least after the German season is over which should surprise no one. People are so inpatient. This is the biggest deal of the summer in world football most likely.

There's no way we spunk all our money on two players that play similar positions. Especially when we have a gaping hole on the right and already have Bruno, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Pereira, Gomes who can all play that position.

I mean I’m not completely aware of the state of Chelsea’s finances - I’d say they probably had double the budget we do due to Hazard and Morata. However they’ve just spent around 80 mill on two players. They were even very close to negotiating a wage cut with their players until they decided to ask them to donate to charity (most likely for PR reasons). So you wouldn’t say they were in a much stronger position than us financially.

We have 90 mill in reserves and have drawn 140 mill on credit. I could easily see us spending around 100 mill on a single player and that being the end of our transfer dealings for the summer.

Liverpool arent buying anybody. Even mentioning salary waivers which really shocks me.

Sancho isnt going to Liverpool
Liverpool identified Werner as their top target and aren't prepared to pay £50 million for him, so they won't be paying more than that for the likes of Sancho and Havertz.

I can't see any clubs making major signings this summer, due to all the uncertainty at the moment. Too many things are up in the air.

What would you classify as a major signing? Seeing as Chelsea just spent 80 mill on two players, albeit Ziyech was announced two weeks before football shut down.
