Lets not talk about that woman anymore, just draw a line through her. She is a troll. She finds the most popular subject of the day, then latches onto it. Every time you mention her name, she wins. Lets all focus on the good news today and the wonderful result from Marcus, using his fame for good and making a big difference to 1.3 million kids.

What I like about this is it's a cause that the media wouldn't give two hoots about (i.e. he's not just piggybacking on something that's already popular) and so he's had to create the pressure on No10 himself using only his name and words. It's a serious issue but most people weren't even aware of it until he spoke out because honestly how many people are going to read a story about a school meal scheme. The guy is grounded, a great ambassador for the club and a solid role model.

Future England Captain
Yes. THIS is how you use celebrity to do good. Fight for a cause that only a celebrity can win. Don't just loudly agree with the actions of ordinary people putting their actual shit on the line.

let's not give that horrible woman the chance to ruin something wonderful. It's just a delight to see such a young and bright footballer make a change and do something so wonderful for the community. It truly is amazing what he has achieved over these past weeks and it just shows what a great person he is. Take a bow, son.

Her Twitter feed is horrible to say the least. She says mothers should think about feeding the kids before having them all the while completely ignoring the fact that covid 19 has pushed so many families to the brink. She is one horrible person. Hope she loses her job for this shit.
Does she even have a job? Global sacked her ages ago, they're the biggest players in radio. Who's going to employ her? Some regional crap

Match day threads need to get a pro-Rashford filter from now on. For example:

'Wtf, how did Rashford miss that absolute sitter?! Fecking hopeless!' becomes
'Wow, how incredibly noble of Rashford to save that GK's blushes, and so elegantly executed too. Fecking hero!'

and

'Get Rashford off, all he does is run fast and lose the ball!' becomes
'Give Rashford an OBE, all he does is radiate fineness and ooze cool!'

You know you have done some extraordinary when the official account of your biggest rival praises you! Marcus Rashford went from a talented footballer to worshipped by an entire footballing-world. And he deserves every praise he can get. I will insist that my kids get Rashford on their next shirt now

I wish there were more people like Marcus around the world; people who use their platform not just as a commercial tool but also to raise awareness and question the government whenever necessary.

Fair play to Rashford but as a society we need to move away from people expecting other people to pay for their own responsibilities.

The irony is his marketability just went through the roof (it was already pretty high)

You sound like a Daily Mail reader.

Do you think the majority of kids who need FSMs is due to a lack of responsibility?

Yup I'm sure Rashford's mum wasn't working hard or responsibly enough when her children needed those free school meals...

Not serious, only pointing out the absurdity of those arguments

Do you lot claim this bloke? I came across his twitter profile this afternoon, and I was astounded to find nothing but criticism for Rashford and United as a club. He must be trolling, surely. Or likely just a bored 15 year old.

Look at his tweets in general. Come across as a sad muthafecka! Nothing but moans. Must still live with his mum and not allowed out

That sad sod is one of the most vocal Jose arse lickers on Twitter who still hasn't gotten over it and was slating Ole non stop earlier this season.

He's been crapping all over the club for any and everything so this isn't a surprise.

So many of those LUHG types end up exposing themselves as absolute weirdos with the venom they aim at the club they supposedly claim to 'support'.

Those kinds of supporters support their personal agenda's much more than any club

Love this guy. Can't wait to see him back in action but its amazing all that he's done during this break. Using his platform for all the right reasons and fighting for a cause he believes in. An excellent human who has turned into a fantastic player.

What a guy Rashford is, couldn't be more proud to have him at United for what he has done during lockdown.

This reply to the Liverpool tweet thanking Marcus did make me laugh

Rashford will be seen as a beacon of hope for the young generation. There will be those without a sustained income, or without a large platform and they will be asking themselves what would be the best course of action to fight for a cause which they personally identify with. Others may not have a cause which they personally resonate with, but just know that they want to make a positive contribution of some sort. I'd imagine there's a number of those conversations happening in group chats/zoom meetings. What ways can you think of? Fundraising would be a good start, creating a new social media page dedicated to finding like-minded people who s personal cause etc

Not to needlessly attack you, as I don't know you and maybe you're a sound person, but your comment is myopic. Life happens and situations change, and sometimes that means requiring help.

I grew-up on free school meals as it was more common than not growing up in a Salford council estate in the 80/90's. I was also given help at the local youth club to keep me out of trouble. My mum worked, but we needed the extra help as my old man decided that being a dad wasn't quite for him and left my mam with zilch. So, should myself or my brother go hungry and suffer because of that?

You need to remember that helping kids and their families pays dividends later on: it's an investment in the person and society. Not all are able to take advantage of that investment, but those who do generally pay it back. Because of the help I received then, and throughout my later life with funding for uni, I'm now in a position where I give back to society through my work (paid and charitable).

Like I said, this isn't an attack, but maybe you need to consider there's a bigger picture than what you currently see.

If a couple earned good money and could afford to have 4 kids, then the main source of finance passed away leaving them on the poverty line, would you say it’s fair that society should dip in and ensure their comfort?

If Ashton is behind it then surely he would have got Woodward to do it

You know how sad and miserable your life must be to think like that though.

That’s what the social service network is for. It’s not to provide an income stream for the feckless. I think Rashford has done a good job but people need to take responsibility for their own actions. Having 5 kids without any income is irresponsible.

Don't post tweets in the main forum from somebody who wouldn't be good enough to get promoted from the newbie forum. That's a privilege he needs to earn on his own from the mods on the Caf.

It's not like he's a notable celebrity or journalist whose views might be worth discussing. Having a twitter account doesn't legitimise or validate his ramblings.

It’s fortunate that things out of your control can’t change your material circumstances after you have the kids, I guess. Oh wait...

Just saw a United fan telling Rashford to stop with the 'socialist awash' and if he takes a knee against Spurs that will be the final straw. Overwhelming comments slating this fan for threatening to stop supporting the club.
I hope said fan does stop supporting the club. We're better off without that type.

Glad to see that vile woman getting treated with the level of respect she deserves

Been actively targeting and inciting hatred aimed at certain groups for years
It annoys me everyone replies to her. That’s how she gets her fame.

That's brilliant from Rashford! Hope others follow suit with relevant socio-economical issues and make a positive impact.
