I think it is being addressed.

AWB has been improving in that regard and Shaw will be phased out in favour of Williams.
We had so many chances. It's often frustrating both fullbacks look clueless of what to do.

Fair result in the end. To be expected all things considered. Pretty confident with our run in of games. Just hope City and Pool show up v Chelsea.

I don't think we will get top 4 under Ole. We are too defensive and cautious. Bailly on in the end to secure a point.
We need to really go for it when other teams defend.
Pogba should have been on earlier too.
Need 3 points to catch Chelsea. Don't see us doing it.

1-1. To be honest. I’ll take that. We seemed easily the better team.
That Pogba pass was one of the best I’ve seen in my life. It’s a shame Rashford didn’t control correctly.
I don’t blame our players for not being at their sharpest, we still were easily the better team. This is where Jose tactics shine, he’s lucky to meet us after this lockdown.

Doesnt matter what the reality is, some people will moan at him and blame him for everything
True. He played very well, all-in-all. Both defensively and attacking-wise.

After he played the pass of the season only for Martial to follow it up with a passback to Lloris, I'm surprised he bothered passing to anyone else at all.
I think it's harsh to criticise Martial for scuffing his first chance. This is the first competitive football these guys have played in months, they're going to be rusty. He did everything right with the later one, and Lloris pulled out one of the saves of the season.

Spurs will lose a lot more games. Don't even think they'll beat West Ham on Tuesday. Poor form not to beat such a poor side.

Disappointed not to win that to be honest.
Ffs mate, you are just trolling at this point. Scored from nowhere, did not create any clear cut chance whole game. Lady luck has shown her private part to you today.

Hmm? Given home advantage is hugely reduced, it's the first game back, & they had a lead for an hour this seems an insane criticism after a genuinely back and forth match
I guess it was the going 1-0 up, attacking for a bit in the first half before retreating again. Whenever I've watched Spurs under Jose, it's made me happy we no longer have to witness it

3 dribbles, 2 key passes and saved us at the back with 2 clearances from otherwise good goalscoring chances.

People would rather blame him than Maguire for being too slow or Fred being too lightweight and allowing a player to run past him into a dangerous position without at least fouling him

Not sure we watched the same match. We sat deep second half but you guys had virtually nothing to counter it.

Uh huh we were the better team in my opinion. I wasn't worried by you guys at all throughout the match. Felt we had it under control.
That's bias talking. All the pundits I've heard had us ahead in that game. I think we were better for all except the 22 minutes before half time. Only one team was going to win that game at 1-1 and it wasn't Spurs.

No way you make CL next season either.

Spurs showed no intent to play. Centre forward (and best player) playing defensive midfield for the entirety of the second half. Goal comes from opposition incompetence on the break.

Claim the match was under control and you were the better team. Congratulations. You have graduated from the Mourinho school of football.

Rashford looked extremely rusty. I.e. he was poor today. Can only get better.

Pogba, Bruno, Fred with Matic. Pogba could be immense during the run in.

Mctominay was not a good fit whatsoever.

Did not want that chance at the end to go to anyone other than Greenwood. Good effort but wasn't to be. He will be key during the run in. James in a bench player for the remained of this season.

I can see it from the perspective of going ahead and being disappointed not to hold on, but certainly not the best team. Greenwood’s shot goes in and I don’t think anyone would begrudge United the win. I didn’t feel like Spurs offered anything at all after the goal.

That's fair; given my allegiance you'll find minimal arguments about the relief one can have seeing the back of Mourinho! I just don't think this match was a particularly good example of it; it's not like he brought on multiple CBs or anything and the game remained open for much of the second half even if Spurs didn't threaten overmuch. Especially considering the circumstances and player fitness, this wasn't egregious (at least from my view as a neutral).

He makes those subs earlier we win.

Rashford as frustrating as ever, Martial invisible for 90%. Some seriously bad defending, passing and general play.
We need to win every game left if we want to get into top 4 in my opinion, which I don't feel we are capable of as our keeper and defence have a mistake in then and we still fluff too many chances. People saying Chelsea have Liverpool to play but they will be champions by then and I can't see them losing more than two before season ends anyway. 5 points if and when they beat villa will be huge.

Pogba and Bruno only positives for me.

Ah well at least football is back and the team will be fitter for next match, which at home we must surely win and play our best players!

Your keeper made two brilliant saves, while we missed a couple of two more sitters. From now on and until the end of the season Spurs will drop more points than United.

You stopped playing after you scored with your CF hovering around the half way line. How many minutes did you waste trying hang on to a 1-0. To then try respond when we equalise late.

I see the confidence is high on here.
well, im not that sure we win tonight. First game in a long time and players a bit rusty.
    1-1
Feck why Didnt i made a bet on it.. probably 3,50 on it.

anyway, very predictable match. Draw was fair.
But now i remember why Mourinho teams are so Boring to Watch. Even when they win its not funny with 1 shot on Target in 90mins

Yeah they weren't particularly bad today, but they didn't really create much today even in the spell when they were on top. Not to say we were good, but watching that performance I think we will get better as a team as the season goes on, not convinced Spurs showed that much.

Better for us to draw than them. Wrong strategy and moves by Ole, to take off the only guy that looked like scoring, and even though Fred made some minor slips here and there, McT made multiple houlers that should have sat him instead. James would have been useful as a sub instead of wasting his main quality early when everyone was fresh. Pogba and Mason should have started. Weird game but good for a playlist to chill to I guess

Well, this was going to be unpredictable given how long it is since anybody played a match. Some players looked off the pace, noticeably Shaw, Rashford and James. Martial more a case of being locked out of the game by Jose, who clearly decided to just protect his lead after bad mistakes by Maguire and De Gea. Thought Ole maybe would have brought his subs on a little sooner. Some of their players were equally off the pace, especially Kane, but they were tidier overall.

Annoying because we need the points, but this is one the two trickiest fixtures left and we couldn't count on it just being a resumption of football as it was in March. It would have been a different story if we had played this one before the lockdown. You can't compare it with the City v Arsenal result either, as City had Sideshow Bob to help them.

Am I the only person who increasingly thinks Roy Keane is a complete arse?
