This is getting weirder. Why the hold up in announcing if he has signed?
Based on nothing but personally I think he's waiting to see if Bellingham signs for us or not, if we get Bellingham he's off, if not he'll stay.

Do you want him to stay or go?
Would be great for him to stay. He's another that's been at the club from a very young age. That said though if he doesn't want to and sees a pathway elsewhere then I'd support him moving on. What he really needs is a season long loan at Championship level, in my opinion, as the issue with him seems to be one of size. Playing for a season at that level, much like Mason Mount did, would do him the world of good. He might not been keen on that though.

I think he's gone. There is absolutely no reason for them to wait. It is only three days before it expires.

Not on the bench, either. He is gone.

I think Chelsea might pick him up.

You can't play someone whose contract is expiring in three days.
He's off and it is a shame.

I don't care what people say about Gomez. There is NO way he can be worse than Lingard and Mata. Why are we not giving Chong and Gomez a chance? Ole really pisses me off over this. All those chances given to JLingz where he's been crap coulda been given to those guys. Then we could have at least seen if they were good enough. To not give them those chances is a joke!

Any word on where he’s going? Last link I saw for him was to Chelsea, but I’d think Juventus or another Italian side might be interested in a free signing? Or is that only when Mino is involved?

I'm as pro Ole as it gets probably, but even I agree with you. I'm not inclined to agree about Chong in that sense, but he has signed a new contract hasn't he? When it comes to Gomes, I've been of the opinion that he should get game time in front of Mata and Lingard, as they both have been horrible. There has been done a lot of good work during this season, but I'm waiting on a decision on Mata and Lingard. It's unfortunate if we're left with the feeling that we lost Gomes because we gave those guys extra chances.

Will we know in 3 days if Bellingham is coming?
As far as I know he can't sign a contract until Monday due to his age so I'm guessing we'll find out next week, although there's nothing stopping him announcing his decision before he signs the contract.

He'll sign tomorrow, start against Brighton and bag a hattick. Quote me on that

Similar to Chong. Never seen anything from either of them in their limited appearances to justify the hype.

Standing at just 5'3, I can't see how Gomes can ever make it at United without being a liability.

Now he's no longer going to be a Manchester United player can we all finally admit hes never going to make it in the PL. He'll go to a less physical league somewhere like Spain where he will do very well.

I think he'll join Chelsea and be a decent squad option at some point. We've not lost a Rooney or a Ronaldo or anything.

Shame, but he never really stood out in the little first team games he had. Think he will need to go to a weaker league like France or Portugal and if he ever does meet his potential maybe we can sign him back.

I agree. I liked what I saw from him in the youth a couple of years ago but from what I've seen from him in the first team he hasn't impressed that much.

A shame but we'll be fine. His career might not go the way he expects.

Hey this kid could come good, send him to Dortmund, hey that kid seems talented, send him to Dortmund. I feel for supporters of a club that's become nothing but a glorified academy. There are tons of clubs that could use him. I don't think Germany is for him. Spain more like.

Not fussed tbh, I've never seen enough from him to justify the hype.

Isn’t he on incredibly high wages for someone that doesn’t play, club must be cost cutting everywhere at the most minute..
