Some quotes, not the full article as linked above
“Just being back training, touching the ball and doing what I love is amazing; I missed it so much,” he declared. “You realise when you’re out for a long time how much you really enjoy playing football and how much you love it. So obviously I’m really, really happy and so blessed to be back and be fully fit now, and I’m enjoying being back with the team."

“I feel great, I feel much, much better now. I’ve been training well and they [the club] have been looking after me very well. I’ve been doing some extra work and treatment on my ankle and the rest of my body. And my team-mates as well, they’ve helped me to come back and feel confident. It’s like I never left, the guys still trust in me and always believe in me and that’s helped me a lot as well.

“From behind I just enjoy it. I’m enjoying just watching Bruno, Rashford, Martial and Mason, who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it’s beautiful… they make me enjoy football every time!” he beamed.

It couldn’t be much tighter in the table amongst those teams battling for a top-four place, with every game having something riding on it at the moment. But Pogba insists that’s exactly the kind of pressure the players relish.

“To become a top, top team we just need to forget about the last game. We do it, we play well, we do great but then we forget about it and we think about the next one,” he explained. “Take last week, we don’t think about what happened, we are focused on going again. We have to always keep having the goal to improve ourselves and never get satisfied with what we did.

“For example, Martial scored three goals, his first hat-trick, then he goes again, you have to carry on… he wants to take another ball home, you know! [Smiles] You have to have this mentality, score a goal and do it again and again… Bruno, Rashy, Mason… hey if you got two goals, great, but go for three, why not. You have to keep this mentality, keep a clean sheet too… we want to keep working on this and we have the mentality to do it.

“That’s also the mentality of this club, it’s always been like that. We’re never satisfied with one trophy or one game we win or two games or 10 games, you want more, you always want more. That’s what makes Manchester United the biggest club, for me, in England.”
Hoping fans are going to get behind Pogba now and not be critical of him, world class, and I think it's genuinely time for fans to realise what a special player he is, sounds happy at the club.

Can't wait to see him and Bruno next year and how the squad grows.

He's happy now that he doesn't have to do everything while utter mediocrity languish around him, and that we're playing like a top team now. Feel like the new contract is very close now.

Yeah, I have a feeling he's going to sign a new deal as soon as we are confirmed for Champions League

Makes me quite annoyed with the treatment our fans dished out to him. And also the treatment from cuntinho

I think he's staying in my opinion, Which would be a turnaround, Considering he wanted to leave last summer.

What a great, positive interview.

It's fair to say he was feeling frustrated before but now he seems very happy. With news recently of contract talks opening and this interview, I think he is going to sign.

I'm sure Ole will make it clear how important it is he stays.

Excellent read and I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a new contract in the coming weeks. He will go on to play his best years at the club now and help drive this young team to glory.

I was smiling reading that! The atmosphere around the club just seems to be so positive right now. Get that top 4, sign Paul and keep pushing!

Raiola doesn’t help though does he! If he parted with Raiola he wouldn’t get a lot of the frustration from fans.
He wouldn't, you're right.

But why would one of the top footballers in world football not work with one of, if not the best football agents in the game? I don't blame Pogba for trying to get the best deal possible at every opportunity. Many have done it. Neville used to stick up for young players when Fergie tried to offer smaller contracts, Keane used to demand to be the highest paid player in the PL, Rooney held United ransom for a new contract. They all do it, and Pogba is represented by the best in the industry.

I think it's fair to say Mourinho made him want to leave. The atmosphere in the club wasn't great, players weren't happy and the football was dire.

He obviously felt like we were going to be stuck beween 5-8th for a long time and felt like he had to move on.

Solskjaer has come in and changed that, the feeling is completely different, the football by his own admission he is really enjoying and he's playing with some great attacking players.

Get CL footy and sign Sancho and he will be more than happy to stay i'm sure.

I was one of those who wanted him out this season. I just grew exasperated at the situation. It's not that I didn't rate him as a player, it was that after seemingly 3 years of near constant speculation, I came to the end of my tether. It's not like I was one of those who never took to him. I loved him when he first joined and backed him all the way up to last summer, when he did that interview in Japan. That was seemingly the limit for me when it came to Pogba.

If he signs the new deal, then all is forgiven at my end. And credit must also go to Ole for managing the situation so well. I struggle to think of many in the top flight who would have handled the situation as delicately and diplomatically as he did.

If we can add Sancho to this squad and have Pogba tied down to a new 5 year contract, we're well on the way to having this squad near-complete.

What a change in this club since Ole took over. When things really looked bad under Mourinho I legitimately thought we would be languishing in mid-table for a decade.

Great comments from Paul here, if the fans can see the potential of this team then the players sure can too. I‘m sure he’ll sign, and I’m sure we’ll continue to improve this squad. Feels great to support United again.

I think the poster is referring to Raiola's mouth rambling complaints and open threats to the club of Pogba leaving.
Interestingly, not for all of his clients he did those. So..

Getting the best agent is fine, but you have to wonder why is the agent specifically making all of those noises and creating waves of disturbances and unsettlements to the whole camp - club and fans alike.

Except even after Mou get sacked, he openly admit wanting to leave no?

"New challenge" <-- he didn't explain this to be with the current club didn't he. I also admire Pogba's honesty at times.

I think after one problem (Mou) is out, the next is if the club is heading in the right direction or not. I don't think he's convinced with Ole yet at that time. Seeing the likes of Lukaku and Herrera leaving, and then no top class attackers joining, just defenders, and with that Pogba is being given a much deeper disciplined role (he is known openly to admit favour in attacking and midfield three, made a meal out of it with Mou), despite the team needs more attacking and scoring input, he must've questioned if Ole and the club is really serious challenging for trophies or if they are not. Surely he wouldn't want to waste another year. Ronaldo joined Juve, and Zidane is back at Real might swayed him at that time, which is fair.

Anyway, he's convinced now which is great. Bruno is really the savior.

We had a poor end to the season under Ole and let's not forget some muppet booed him out of old trafford after the Cardiff match. At that point he was unhappy with the situation and put it out there he was thinking of it. I personally don't blame him. he's taken some very unfair criticism over the last few years.

Yeah, being booed there is unfair treatment, but in a way I can understand why the certain fans did that. I don't agree with what they did. It can push players out unfortunately. Why didn't the fans do that more with other players though who deserve it more. Alas.

Yes, I also don't blame him wanting to leave. It's a reasonable reaction. But he held on honoring his contract by still performing on pitch, and we held him :D and everything is great now.

You can't blame Pogba, he is a fantastic player, but not someone who can carry a whole team by himself. When he first came he went into a decent team with Ibra etc but it quickly went sour with Mou who treated him like shit.

When Ole first turned up the team did well and then slumped horribly, Pogba thought if he was going to have the chance to really make an impact at club level he was going to have to leave, footballers are all very aware of how short their careers are and understandably want to make the most of them. Now things have turned around and the future looks bright, it's not surprising he wants to stay.

That's why Raiola made those comments Pogba wanted to leave and who can blame him.

Love him but sadly the second he puts a foot wrong (which he will, he's human) the fans and pundits will turn against him.

Yep I know thats what the poster meant, Raiola is an awful human being, perhaps thats why he can be such a world class agent for his players.

I think the whole club just had a toxic atmosphere, the fans were all washed up in the Mourinho soap opera and the press haven't helped.

this little reset could be a huge thing, hopefully once the fans get back the team are flying and playing some lovely football and fingers crossed they give Pogba the cheers he deserves (if he stays)

Good interview. All he needed to add was that he loved watching Lingard not play football for us.

That was because Pogba wanted to leave. Once a player is at that point Raiola is more than happy to go into open warfare to make it happen. We all laughed about him throwing chairs while we were trying to sign Mkhitaryan, but we started seeing it from the other side in this case. It should also be remembered that Raiola only really went too far in one of his interviews, and quickly walked back on those comments a day or two later. Pogba obviously told him to pull his head in on that one. The rest of his comments were pretty much normal for a player who is looking to leave.

Pogba wanted to leave because he'd put up with two and a half years of Mourinho's shit (both on the team level and the personal stuff), and then after a good start with Ole we quickly fell off and looked just as bad again. Don't forget he was also getting booed by some fans and the constant bullshit from the media and commentators towards him. I'm not really sure why some people blamed him.

If he stays everyone will get behind him. Hopefully he signs a new contract and carries on enjoying his time here, that's what we all want. I've been critical of him in the past, not his football as such but I find it hard to back player who seem intent on leaving, especially the noises his agent was making, it was all in poor spirit.

As for his relationship with Bruno, agreed, it will be brilliant to see how this one works out, I think they'll be brilliant for each other and drive each other on. Both big and colourful characters.
