I obviously dont know him personally, we are debating as fans. what an utterly stupid thing to say. Think you've over generalised your point to try and belittle my post for some reason.

We form opinions based on how the player acts. Pogba hasnt exactly been the most committed around, so im rightfully dubious about his long term commitment to our club.

I have no insecurity whatsoever regarding pogba and my opinion of him is the same as every utd player - if you play well i'll support you.

We as fans have over debated Pogba and i merely give my opinion that i dont see his long term future here. Pogba loves the limelight, he has an agent who is troublesome and will always look for a big paycheck fir himself and his client, Pogba himself has said he wants a new challenge and Real have been sniffing around for some time.

He'll probably sign a contract as the pandemic will hamper any moves this summer but we shouldnt be fooled that him signing means he's staying for another 5 years. He may, granted but signing a contract isnt a nailed on 100% assurance that he's here for the long haul, thats very lazy thinking in my opinion.

For the record, i fully understand player's career trajectory - and to re-assert to your simplistic brain that this isnt all about Pogba. I also think Martial/Rashford and others will move on as well. I can easily see Greenwood playing for Barcelona. I dont think phil Jones will see out his contract either. I suspect DDG will end up in Spain in the next 2-3 years as well. Do i hate them too for having an opinion?
You understand why he said he might want a new challenge don't you? I'm not sure you do.

Do you think KDB would stay at City if they were battling for 6th/7h every season?

I do, and i agree that that era was a bad era for us. Mourinho took us backwards and caused all kinds of player conflict.

But he said it regardless, no other player of ours come out in the media and said that. Pogba knows comments like that with his media presence will cause a stir, and he STILL said it. Speaks volumes about him and his attitude

Because he was the one being targeted. Let's not forget that fool after the Cardiff game, and the press constantly coming after him.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't happy he said it either but I can understand where his mind was at. We just failed to get CL football, our performances on the pitch were awful and our squad wasn't looking in great shape. With Madrid and Juve in his ear do you really expect him not to take the easy option?

Perhaps with the injury and Corona virus he's had time to sit back and think over the options.

He's seen the big improvement on the pitch and the squad. Ole has no doubt told him his plans for the future and he seems a lot happier/relaxed now. All he ever wanted was to play good football and win.

If he still makes noise in the summer that he wants to leave then fine let him walk, but anybody thinking we'd be better off without him are being very naive. There is no CM in the world that can replace him with to the same level.

Well you have spoken fairly definitively about his long-term intentions, it is at least possible for you to consider that you could be talking nonsense, no? You said someone else is deluded if, even despite signing a new deal, they think Pogba will stay for 5 years, which would actually suggest that you have some sort of insight. Then you said ‘he will want to move to a big club at some point’ - which is why I mentioned insecurities. I doubt Real and Barcelona players say that about their stars. Even Juve and Bayern. We’re a pretty big deal ourselves. Unless of course, you have a complex that suggests that we are a bit inferior, or you simply have insight that Pogba specifically wants to move at some point. You are now confirming that you have neither, thank you.

I guess what you’ve now said is very different then. It isn’t that you don’t think Pogba is uncommitted, you just think all of our players will want to leave. Right.

As fans we watch football and assess. I think we need to be more careful about sweeping statements about off the field stuff is all. ‘Pogba loves the limelight’. That doesn’t become facts just because everyone repeats it you know. And yes, he did say he wants a new challenge. If that is still the case, then he wouldn’t sign a nee contract at all I suspect. If he does; something has clearly changed then, as that would directly contradict him seeking a nee challenge. And an agent looking to get paid? Must be a Pogba thing, that’s very unlike football agents! Raiola can’t make a player move who doesn’t want to, that sort of stuff needs to stop getting spread. Only those part ownership gigs are like that.

I doubt he meant to ‘cause a stir’. He actually meant to leave! We would have seen soon enough what his intentions were when he left anyway. Him saying it was not to wind people up. He was likely hoping a deal would be done, and the whole world would have seen he wanted a new challenge at that point!

And not all of our players have the same options as Pogba either.
